it may not look like classic castle grayskull but it is still a great looking playset based on the brilliant CGI show . Lots of stuff to play with . well built and bigger than expected . Love it !!!!

This is such a well made toy. It is a top quality product made from robust materials. It's rare nowadays for a toy to feel like it's made to last but Castle Grayskull hits that mark. I went back and forth about getting this for my son wondering if he would get the use out of it but I'm glad that I purchased. He has had such fun with it, he has spent hours upon hours acting out He-Man and Skelator's epic battles and will certainly continue to do so. The sounds and movement of the different parts are spot on and can't be faulted. I have zero hesitation recommending this set. Its easy put together, about 15mins tops. There are so many features and ways in which to play that little boys and girls, as well as dads and mams will be entertained for hours.

Underrated tv show and an underrated playset, highly impressed with the thought and imagination that went into this version of castle Grayskull, would highly recommend to any masters of the universe fan.

Collectors! Make note of the dimensions first! I didn't do that and unfortunately it won't fit on the shelf I've prepared for it! My own fault though - This thing is huge and strikes an imposing sillhouette. It's feature-packed for children so there's a lot of value there, & even comes with a Sword of Power (I didn't know that). Instructions are easy and straightforward (though I'm used to Warhammer minis) and the thing is sturdy. It's now a centerpiece of my collection, because I'm trying to recapture my youth.

I'll start by saying this is such a fabulous quality toy. It's really quite large when built and has so many different things that it does, it's exciting for the kids to discover everything. It's all very impressive but I am at a loss why there isn't even one character included. My kids were delighted with the castle, even though they are far too young to remember he-man, but they didn't really know how to play with it as they had no figures to role-play with. In the end, they just used some WWE figures they had, even though they were too big lol.Being a lady, I wasn't a huge fan of he-man, it was more She-ra for me, but I remember the animated series well and this Greyskull castle will surely be a coo for any fan to own.I am super impressed with the quality of the castle and its pieces. It all works really well. Oh, just remember you will need 3 AA batteries for it to be able to work all the lights and sounds. At 3yrs, my boys are a little young to be able to appreciate this properly, but once they are a little older, I think this will be a treasured toy.Price-wise, if I was just looking to buy a toy for my younger kids who weren't aware of the he-man show, I would probably not be able to bring myself to part with £132.60 (time of review) for the castle alone with no figures, however, I am aware this is quite an iconic series and any major fans, big and small, would appreciate this greatly and would make the perfect piece to own.

Fantastic toy, grandson love's it

While I wasn't born when He-Man and the Master of the Universe came out in the mid 80's, I vaguely remember seeing it repeated on TV in the later years. When this playset arrived I recognised the Greyskull immediately and this particular version is really good. I imagine die-hard fans would be thrilled to have it.The playset is much bigger than I was expecting and there is so much to it. The bridge can be released by inserting the sword which is great fun, the light and sounds are a great addition and really adds to the quality. There are two sections on the side that slide out and a trap door that drops down.The whole thing is solid and really well made, I do think it would take a lot to damage it.The only downside as others have said is that there are no figures included in the set. My daughter loves a big playset like this and luckily has many different figures from other playsets that she was happy to use but it's just a shame there are non included especially considering the price (currently £117.90 at the time of this review).Overall, this is an excellent playset, especially for big fans or collectors of the He-Man series. But not being a huge fan, i wouldn't be paying the huge price tag but that doesn't take away from the quality.
