I got this to use when playing the role of Santa, as it is one of the bigger bells out there on Amazon and I cannot really see Santa using a piddly little tinkling bell, I am happy with this bell , O.K the handle and the way it is fixed to the bell could be a little better made but the bell itself is impressive, it is a matt finish but I suppose with a little time and effort I could polish it up , I kind of like it like it is and when you ring it, it clangs like a good un ! nice and resonant and nice and loud.
