Color:100gr Black Refill To achieve a full looking healthy hair you need to get good hair coverage from the scalp up. As a user and a person who nonstop thrive to improve I found Samson hair fibers to be the best product considering all the above: The weight was perfect some fibers penetrated the hair layers and lay nicely on the scalp. The others adhered well to the hair shafts. the fiber color blended well for the reason that your hair color can reflect on these fibers too. Samson hair fibers consisting a variety of fiber sizes, weight and color shades to achieve a balanced natural look. Not all hair fibers, thickeners, concealers alike: They are made with various materials and techniques with one common goal to achieve better hair coverage and give you a great looking hair.Toppik™ is probably the most used and known brand, Toppik is known to be made of wool (sheep hair) wool can be irritating especially in the summer time, I personally used Toppik™ and I used to go crazy not understanding why my scalp is so itchy until I found out it was made of wool. There are quiet few brands out there…I have tried them all and so my friends. Some were too dark or light but the major problem with most hair fiber brands was the size and weight of the fibers: Remember, we need the fibers to hold on to our own hair longer and better, it should also cover our scalp somehow to create an illusion of full dark hair. Some brand fibers were too heavy and could not cling to the hair for long time simply sliding down on your scalp to your forehead, neck and behind your ears (felt like sand). Some hair fibers were too light and stayed on top of your hair "bulk up" and did not penetrate deeper and the more you tried to add hair fibers it looked worse.Other brands were made of materials that did not blend into the natural hair color and feel and in certain light you could tell the obvious difference. Samson Hair fibers has all the unique characteristics to blend and look natural from the start.

Worth it for the Price
This product is definitely worth it for the price, but does not compare quality wise to Toppik. It comes off really easy, has much smaller fibers, and does not hold as well as Toppik does. One thing I did not like was that when I was swimming with this product on, it comes off really easily even though I sprayed and protected the application area with waterproof hairspray. I have never had this product with Toppik. You literally have to scrub your hair with shampoo twice to get that stuff off, but this product is nearly 1/3 the cost of Toppik, so I will be using it for regular day to day activities like going to work, out, etc. However, I strongly recommend that you use a product like Toppik if you plan on swimming, going out in the rain, or engaging in any other activity that involves water. Those are just my two cents at least.

Surprise! There's a difference!
I liked the colors available under the Samson label so I ordered my first refill with fingers crossed. Firstly, I really did like the color. It came much closer to my original shade than had a competing label. Second, it went on better. Third (and to me most importantly), the instructions were a little different and called for soft brushing the fibers into my hair. This worked very well and I have much more natural looking hair. I'm ordering a second color to blend to get even closer to my original hair color. I have utmost confidence I will continue to be very satisfied. I recommend this product.

Hair fibers still a long way from looking natural, expecially when caught in damp or wet weather!
All these hair cover-ups have a long way to go, in reality, I see little difference in any on the market place when it comes to a natural look? . All seem to eventually form little clusters when hairs gets damp, ending up looking to look like mice dropping on the scalp, For someone who wishes to cover up thin spots where hairs is still growing fine; they would be better served using the Joan Rivers powdered hair and Derm-match product. The John Rivers powder does not have the issue of clumping for mentioned with the hair fibers. and provides a better overall natural look. I also would say Derm-match also another better option similar to Joan Rivers is a good choice. None are perfect in results, however the Joan Rivers and Derm match are the better choice especially under damp weather as they stay put on scalp, without the clumping effects of the hair filler fibers .

Four Stars
Mixed the "White" with the "Gray" and had a wonderful finish at the end.

Does the job nicely.
I wish I didn't have to use this but it is much better than wearing a wig! Works very well for hiding those thin spots and stays till I wash it out. It is a little messy in application....it was leaving a fine dust all over my vanity so I remedied that by putting a mirror in the shower and applying in there so it is washed away easily.

Just a good product.
What would I have done without you! I would have had to keep paying twice the price for the toppik...so I put the Samson brand in my toppik can and sprinkle just the same as before. Thanks for saving me money and making me look good.
