Worth the Extra $$$
Makes such a difference for my 15 year old arthritic dog. My poor boy was weak in his joints and would often stumble head first into the pavement. This broke my heart, as I was considering it may be time to let him go. I purchased these braces and the Agon Hock braces too. My dog rarely stumbles now, and if he does he does not go all the way down. He's much more sure of his footing. If you're considering the Hock braces made by the other brand that has a similar emblem to Agon, and is cheaper, don't. That particular product is a knock off, that lasts about one month (no longer holds together well-fasteners are weak and not sticking) compared to the six months of heavy use our Agon braces endured. The knock off braces for the front legs like these are holding up okay, for far only a couple months old, but I don't think they will hold up as long as these did which was about 6 months. I put on and take off these braces three times a day to walk my boy. I will buy these again, if the others don't last as long as these did. A life span of 6 months is pretty good considering how many times I put these on and take them off each day.

Great Support Brace!!!!
What a great product! I ran a Vet Clinic years ago, and now do Animal Behavior and Dog Training, I currently have an American Staffordshire named Leroy who has a hyper extended front leg right up from the paw, in the carpal area of a dog, I received this support brace, put it on him, and he now has great support when walking. I take it off at night. I like how you can have just the right amount of support without it being to tight. And there are 2 support braces in a pack!! They work great! I would highly recommended them, even if your dog only limps from Arthritis, or is overweight and needs support on his legs, or dosen't limp at all! They would be good for a dog that runs or jogs with their owner also! They are a well made really good support brace, and I'm very happy with them!!!

Worked wonders for us!
These have worked wonders for my Chihuahua! She was suffering from what I believed to be carpal hyperflexion. She was yelping in pain and walking on her heels suddenly one day. This subsided quickly after rest and keeping her off her feet. She is 14 and surgery would not be an option. We recently moved to a colder climate (from South FL) and I noticed her shaking and hunching as she walked around often, figuring it was the cold, however now I realize it was pain related. She's exceptionally stubborn! When the braces are one she stands with her back flat and there is no shaking! It is really amazing and I am so glad I gave these a try.It took her a day or two to figure out how to lay down with them on since she cant bend her wrists, but she has mastered it now. They also slip down occasionally, but I also try to not put them on too tight to cut off her circulation.

Small Front & Back Leg Braces for my ShihTzu
Rear Leg Support:I haven't used the front leg braces yet, but my 12.5 year old Hampshire occasionally wears the rear leg braces to help with his weakening rear leg posture. It's a good product and appears to working for him.Limit Time:He is more stable on the tile & wood flooring when he wears the brace. He wears them for approximately 5 hours at a time because the warning on the box says no more than 6 hours.Warnings:I don't want to damage his circulation. The box explicitly says not to leave them on overnight.Make certain to adjust them often to accommodate circulation. It's trial and error at first so don't just put them on and leave them on without monitoring your pet.I typically put them on when he is most active which is when I return from work and just before walking after dinner time. Then we settle in for the night and I remove them because he is not active after 9:30 p.m.

support and positioniing
I think that the product is worthy of saying that it does help. a couple of things that need to be addressed are:1. the two Velcro closures that are on the bottom of the support are extremely difficult to undo, this causes the dog distress because undue pressure needs to be added in order to undo them, putting pressure on the dogs already injured leg.. during the day the supports have a tendency to work down the dog leg to a point where the support is covering the entire foot. the dog has a major problem with this. even thought different tightening strengths have been tried. once the support gets down to the pad area the dog tries to remove the support..2. some means of retaining the support in position should be looked into.3. maybe have another product that is an elastic stretching bandage of some sort.4. your reply would be appreciated.

Good but not for my doggie...
This seemed like a good idea. My dog has arthritis in both of her front wrists, one side to the point where walking around the block came with some long term painful consequences. This wrap does a good job of helping to stabilize the joint but when she wears it walking on asphalt/concrete she shaves her toenails down to bleeding. I guess not flexing the ankle is modifying how she wants to walk and she didn't compensate. It didn't work for me. Hopefully it would work with other dogs who could learn to modify their walking style or who aren't subject to such abrasive surfaces. We are compensating by shortening walks, pursuing softer surfaces, and wrapping with coban.

Wonderful
15 yr old Jack Russell puts up a small resistance every time we put them on but his mobility is greatly improved almost immediately! Can tell he feels better with them on.

Nice quality and helped with sprained ankle
Our dog had a sprained ankle and our vet did not recommend using a brace but just resting him for a few weeks.Try keeping an active dog down for a few weeks! 🥴We decided to try these on our own and we wore them on him every time he was going to be running or jumping or if we saw that he was limping a little bit.We feel as if they helped him to recover more quickly than he would have without it.Now, if we see him even begin to limp we put them back on for prevention.

Very high quality product
We purchased the Front Leg Brace for my 12 year old 70 pound Chow Chow who suffers from severe arthritis. He is slow in walking and especially has trouble with stairs. The Agon braces are far superior quality compared to several other brands that were poor quality (thin material - no support - odd sizing - weak narrow Velcro’s).The Agon braces are made of thick sturdy material. The sizing is exactly as stated in the product description. They fit very snug on the paw giving strong but comfortable support - they don’t slide down. The velcro bands are wide and have an extremely strong grip. The velcro strips cannot come undone on their own. One has to really pull them apart to open the brace to remove it from the paw.We also showed the braces to our veterinarian who confirmed that these braces are really very good quality.Dealings with the seller have been top notch who given extremely professional service. We highly recommend these front leg braces and purchases from this seller.
