I got this for a road trip to a few national parks, and it was way better than I expected! It fit everything I needed for exploring the town and also for short 1-3 hour hikes, such as 2 bottles of water, my phone, my hat, chapstick, a nail kit, some snacks, sunglasses, extra socks, money/credit cards, and a pack of wet wipes, and I still had plenty of room for more small items if I had needed such as a poncho, flashlight, pocket knife, etc. I did try putting my sweatshirt in there too but it was too bulky and uncomfortable on my back with that in there. This fits the items I expected it to and I highly recommend this backpack!! I got the 10L and I wouldn't have wanted anything bigger or smaller, it is the perfect size. I am 5'3" 190lbs. for reference.

This bag is a great size and style. Not very purse looking, more backpack-ish. It's made well and zippers are good. Fits my 11.5 inch chromebook in the main compartment, in the additional padded slot. I do wish there was a small zipper slot in the large compartment but it would prob make it too top heavy anyway. The smaller compartment is generous and has an additional zipper pocket, 2 pen holders and a phone pocket. There is also a great open pocket that clips at the top that I use for my galaxy s10 and galaxy live earbuds, and a 10in. notebook without it getting too bulgy. The two side mesh bottle holders fit my 24oz hydro flask well. I also put my keys and pocket knife in there and it stays well. The straps are comfy and there's a whistle on the chest buckle. Reflective on the top back is nice. Not to mention the 'secret' pocket that rests against your back. I wou take this bag on a day hike or traveling, but not on a serious outdoor adventure as the bottom is sturdy but not reinforced. It's lightweight enough with some gear that it's comfortable to carry for hours. The size is perfect.. Overall exactly what I looked for.

I bought this primarily to wear while snowboarding, but will also use for general hiking/biking, and as my carry on bag (my 13x9 inch laptop fits perfectly into the large pocket, although there's no padding or protection). All the other hiking backpacks I tried were huge and made of cheap-feeling nylon. This is more of a canvas material and is the perfect size day pack for me. I really just need it to hold a couple of bottles of water, some snacks, and maybe an extra pair of gloves/hat or a swimsuit and towel in the summer. I got the Navy color which is a teal/turquoise color (just as it looked on my computer screen). I'm very happy with this purchase and can't wait to use it on my snowboarding trip next week!

I went on a cruise with my daughter and she had one of these, and it was super functional. So when I was going on a Sierra Club service trip in the San Gabriel mountains, and needed a day pack, this worked great! There are several pockets for your things, and the straps are comfortable. I had it stuffed at one point and it was easy to hike with and I didn't feel like I had a pack that was ill fitting.I think it is a steal for the money. You won't regret this purchase. I've only taken it on 2 trips so far, so can't state the full durability, but it is holding up really well and is comfortable to wear.

I am super picky about backpacks and I’m a petite woman so finding one that doesn’t look ridiculous on me can be a challenge and this bag is my absolute favorite!!! It’s small but big enough to toss a sweater in or rain jacket plus my regular items.It fits my iPad just as advertised. I have an otter box on my iPad which makes it a snug fit in the pocket, but it does fit.The other pockets are perfect size and help with organizing. I was caught in a light rain the other day and everything inside the main area stayed dry.If this bag came in black I would buy a second. The dark gray is ok. But I prefer all black. That’s my only complaint.

This pack is light, small and still fits everything I need for a day out of the house.The small compartment has a place for small things and a zipped pocket, too.The large compartment has a pocket and plenty of space. I like to carry a hat, sunscreen, snacks and whatever else I need for the day. This bag fits the bill.There is a tiny pocket on the mesh side that is perfect for a wallet and phone.This is just what I needed. My old pack was a 20L and things jostled around too much during day trips. This size is what was necessary for 12-18 hours our of the house.

I recently got back from a 7-day trip to Alaska with this bag and it totally performs! I used it as my personal item on the plane and was able to fit everything I needed plus stuff I didn’t! The back zip security pocket is part of why I bought this bag and I love it.After the plane I used this in lieu of a purse and as my (short hike) hiking bag. The side pouches held two water bottles much of my trip, and my shoulders and back never complained. But if I had to complain, I’d agree with other reviewers that the zippers aren’t super smooth. But it still looks brand new and I can see taking this on future trips and short day hikes.

We were pleasantly surprised by this low-priced pack. We carried them around (light orange and ivory) all over San Francisco, Yosemite, and then Monterey, I'm continuing to use it for hiking at home and for the airport. Comfortable and lightweight and lots of room. The colors are very nice. Two hidden pockets for valuables - though be careful, as we thought we'd lost a credit card when it was just hidden in the inside pocket! Also, the main zipper can be a bit sticky but doesn't seem to be a problem.

This is a good size for a small backpack.Two main compartments with numerous functional inner pockets . Can fit everything I need for a full day out eg: waterproofs, lunch, lightweight fleece, keys, phone and more! Two bottle holders either side. However, cant fit my dogs large water bottle in ( though it does go in the section displayed on photos as Ipad holder). Comfortable, adjustable shoulder straps, do rub a little when wearing vest top but no chaffing marks. Has a chest strap which I really like as many this size don't . My only niggle is that it's described as 'waterproof' in photos BUT in product description only 'water resistant' . Not too much of a problem as just put everything inside a plastic bag if needed.

The product was fine but didn't arrive in time for what I needed. But if you're buying this you should be aware that you won't have the option to return it unless you're happy to pay to send it back to China. That's not clear from the listing.

Purchased this backpack for an overnight stay. It is compact and very light although I was able to fit all I needed in the compartments. The bag is very well made, lovely material, all the zips and seams appear very robust, although I have only used it a couple of times so time will tell. Comfortable to wear with easily adjustable straps. For an overnight stay or a day trip or such, then this is a perfect bag.

Perfect size. Ideal for water bottle, even my lap top just fits in. Pocket at front good size for purse and phone. Secret pocket at back also big enough to hold purse or and phone. Nice material, zips zip lovely. Very happy with it
