Q: Is the padding thick enough to hide your nipples when cold?

Absolutely. I hate that and have not had a problem with the nips showing in these bras.

Q: Is the 'evening blush' more pink or taupe?

It's a deep salmon color. On the pink side, not taupe

Q: The band looks like a wide piece of hot neoprene (neo knit?!), does it breath well? Or make you hot?

I love them. Have not gotten hot.
