Q: Can i heat this to make hot chocolate?

You could but I would not recommend it. It won't taste right, but more importantly heat will damage the enzymes and the probiotics. Worse yet, there is maca powder in here and heating that causes it to gelatinize (it is a starch, heating any starch has this effect), so you'd basically be turning it into cook and serve pudding. That may be fine if you want to eat it with a spoon, but it is not pleasant to choke down in a mug. I've found this as a side effect of blending to long in a vitamix even if I don't have frozen fruit or ice in it as it quickly heats up and thickens like paste. If you want a nice hot chocolate that is healthy for you, get some raw cacoa and mix in some honey or stevia and your milk of choice to taste ( http://amzn.to/2dRv5a2 ), just heat the milk a bit and toss it all in a vitamix and it whips up nice and frothy and delicious.
