Decent underwater case
Bought this for a water filled summer holiday, mainly for use when snorkelling. It did a good job and I have great photos to show from it. I deducted a star because I couldn't really get it to take a photo using the camera button. I had to have the camera open and took photos pressing the screen. To take photos further under the water, I would set it on 5/10 seconds, press the button then swim down.

It worked so well
The media could not be loaded. I was not putting my phone in here I’m way to paranoid but my hubby did and it was honestly so good . No issues at all. It was in water for hours . We were in the water every day for 10 days in hawaii . The clicker does not work for iPhone 13 and touching the screen is pretty hard but Hoenstly if you’re just Recording it when you do manage to snap a picture it’s pretty good , like doesn’t look like it’s in a bag you know .

Owned 2 . both broke - still recommend
I’ve bought two of these and both have broken. The hinges freeze up after use in salt water (not surprising) and the screw in the back that allows you to release the pressure inside (equalize) locked up and then broke when trying to unscrew it. That said…. It’s still probably the best option for the price or any price under $100-$200. Would love to try the next version. Not sure if I will yet

My Tale of Woe. . .
Ok, so I live in the South Pacific - lots of kayaking, snorkeling, and scuba diving. I thought this would be the perfect addition to my Samsung S21 Plus phone, a compliment to my adventures. I ordered the case and two weeks later it arrived. The box was ok, then I unpacked it. I noticed immediately there was no vent hole screw. I searched all of the box and package's contents - no screw. So folks, if you have no vent hole screw then water will immediately enter the case. This immediately defeats any and all waterproofing. I contacted the seller, no answer. All I need is the vent hole screw, a part that is probably less than five cents. The case seems to be well made and rugged, but no screw. Sadly, I am returning this case, and from the middle of the Pacific Ocean this will not be easy or cheap to do. So much for the "No Postage Necessary If Mailed In The United States." Hey, its just a matter of quality control doing one final check over.

Works great for it's intended use.
This case is great for taking underwater pictures when snorkeling. It has it's limitations, but, for the money it's a steal. Everything else I looked at for this application was at least 5 times the price.Follow the instructions for testing it for leaks before using (we had no issues), and make sure to keep sand, etc. out of the sealing area.I used it with the iPhone 12 Pro Max. Once I got the hang of it, I could put the iPhone into camera mode underwater, switch magnification (I generally used it at 2.5), and could also swipe up to shut it down.Note: the brightest, most colorful pictures are during full sun, but when it's full sun, you often can't see the phone screen due to reflections, so aiming is a bit hit or miss (mostly miss until you get the hang of it). Also, if you're using it in salt water as we were, be sure to rinse the case thoroughly in fresh water, otherwise salt will build up in the latch joints. One more thing, it does not float, so make sure you use the wrist strap (it's plenty strong, and wide enough to be comfortable). We found the case to be just what we had hoped for.
