Beautiful frame. Well constructed. Easy to swap out seasonal pictures. Would recommend to anyone who wants to add a touch of elegance to their decor.

The frames are attractive and look like as depicted for sale. The reverse side is black velvet with 4 slide hinges tor securing the back to the picture. There are two hooks for hanging in either vertical or horizontal orientation and a rest stand for placing the frame on a flat surface in either orientation. I did not give it a 5 star rating for two reasons, namely:1. The hook in the back of the frame was under the hinge holding the rest stand. This could be freed by carefully prying the hook from under the hinge but unless it was designed that way for reasons unknown to me, I see no reason why I would have to pry the hook from under the hinge.2 Buyers of this frame should be aware that facing the front of the frame, the viewable dimensions measure 3.5" x 5.5", so if you print a picture for example to place in the frame just be aware that you lose 1/2" horizontally and vertically that is viewable. For me, this was a lesson in photo shooting composition.All in all, it's a nice frame.

There are also mounted hangers for wall mounting on the back, but the leg would need to be removed somehow (it's not designed to be removed) to allow the frame to hang flat against a wall. Nevertheless, this frame easily beats anything I could find at three different dollar stores and Wal Mart, for sure, and I heartily recommend it.Note: A previous reviewer lamented the fact that the image was cropped by the frame. The 4x6 frame, which I bought, has an inside-to-inside frame dimension of 3,9/16" x 5,9/16", so you will be cropping not quite 1/4" all the way around the image's circumference, which is necessary simply to hold the picture in place. If you're looking for a frame that will accommodate a matted 4x6 photo, go a size larger.

I needed a small frame and this one fit the bill. I collect unusual picture frames which this one isn't but I like how it fits in with all of the unusual ones. It shows off the photo without distracting from it. It draws attention to the subject of the photo which was the point.

This is a lovely quality frame. I have had a hard time actually having a 5x7 delivered. Two previous orders sent 6x9 frames. They were returned for refunds. Trying again for the 3rd time to get a 5x7 for my picture--and received a 4x6. I decided it was easier to order a new 4x6 picture and use the attractive frame rather than trying a fourth time for a 5x7. The stock needs some oversight to solve a problem. Where are the 5x7s? It is a five star frame, just strange delivery.

These are cheap plastic wrapped in garish gold plastic foil. False advertising is rampant on amazon. Tired of it.
