Authentic Mexican Falsa Blanket

I recently started practicing yoga and was on the hunt for a cotton yoga blanket. All the others on the market were extremely expensive - the least expensive I found was around $40. A hunt on Amazon lead me to this, which had great reviews so despite my misgivings about an authentic Mexican blanket being $13.99, I went for it and was completely blown away by the quality, the beauty and the functionality of this blanket. It’s taller and wider than my yoga mat, provides a great cushion even on its own and is perfect for daily use. Will definitely order again!

These are great blankets for the price. I ordered one with the intention of using it as a picnic blanket, but used it on my couch instead. The fabric is a bit rough at first but after a wash or two it softens up and has held up well. The color you receive is random, but I like that - it's a surprise! I just ordered two more to use for dog blankets. Great look and value - I like having a throw that I am not afraid to toss in the laundry.

Would have given 5 starts, but.....Mixed colors states "slightly different than pictured". Picture shows purple, which is why I chose mixed, I received red. I hate red.WTH is acralyc? Is that a thing? I assume they mean acrylic. The tag says 60% acrylic/40% cotton...The description and features show two different dimensions. I'd estimate 74"long is correct.They're scratchy. I have another blanket that is a bit thicker, and much softer, though more loosely woven. I was hoping for the same, hopefully it will soften with washing.I bought two for outdoor use. They're great for laying in grass, concerts, chilly nights, great car blankets. They will certainly do for that, and can't beat the price. I paid $25 for the other I have, these two total were $23. All in all ugly color and scratchy aside I got just what I ordered and super fast too! They arrived on the 6th, my order said they'd arrive between 7th-10th. Awesome. I'd give it 5 stars if mixed were closer to purple, perhaps they should change the listing to state random color not as pictured.

I order so much I don't usually write a review, but I have to on this purchase. These blankets are amazing! They are a great size, so warm, and beautiful in patterns. I ordered 4 for out outdoor fire pit times and received an amazing set of tans with navy and black. I want to be honest with the assorted colors choice I was expecting random reject colors that I was really ok with, but I got 4 beautiful blankets that are such high quality. We are so happy with this purchase! Thank you!

Great blanket wrong color lol

Love the color- got a dark grey and flourescent yellow stripe as a random choice. However, it did have a smell that reminded me of musty canvas. I attempted to wash it (got fuzz everywhere) but it still smells. The smell is not a calming thing to experience when you are covering up or trying to use it for restorative yoga. I will let it air out and if it doesn't get better I'll keep it in my car for outdoor stuff. It's also not as soft as I would have liked- it's definitely a cotton (think canvas) and not a fuzzy texture like the yoga blankets at my yoga studio.

You don't get to choose the color (it is random), so I expected some kind of ugly surprise like neon green and purple or something.. But! They were cheap. I got the ones from Sanyork Fair Trade, so I ordered two to combine the shipping.I was very pleasantly surprised by how nice the colors are. One is a soft pink/grey/mint and the other is hunter green and cranberry with black. They are nice colors like those on the blankets in the preview photos- no horrible neons or anything!I am in love with the colors I received and am really going to enjoy these blankets! If I need more, I will totally buy them here.

The blanket seems to be pretty good quality, especially for the price, and the color is nice. However, it has a VERY weird smell and I just can't bring myself to use it because I'm worried I'm breathing in some kind of chemical cloud. I've washed it twice already and let it hang outside overnight to try to air it out, but there's still quite a bit of lingering smell. If anyone else has experienced the same and has had any luck getting out the smell, please let me know. Right now the blanket is essentially worthless.
