This is the oem trane capacitor
This capacitor is replacing the original, 22 year old GE capacitor that came with the trane furnace. The original capacitor is not dead either, just had one go bad on the outside condenser and decide to replace the others proactively. It installed easily and works, what more do you want? Given how long the two I have lasted I would expect these to perform similarly. They are rated at 60,000 hours using the eia-456-a standard.

Capacitor Worked With Trane HVAC Unit
Found I had a failed capacitor in our condenser unit which was keeping the fan from running and causing the compressor to trip on overtemp. After troubleshooting, I found the run capacitor was bad. Replaced it and unit was back to normal.Remember to always practice electrical safety when working with any type of electrical equipment.
