Totally freaking crazy screwball comedy yaoi
Wow. I’m not even sure where to begin with this one. I guess I’ll start by saying that I’ve never encountered any yaoi manga even remotely like this, and it’s totally unique and unlike anything else you’ll find in the genre. The basic premise is about two men, one of them is an absolute failure at life and the other is just a wasteland of a human being, who find themselves living next-door to one another and happen to discover that they share a mutual interest in receptive anal sex, despite both professing to be nominally straight.Anyway, this is more or less just a jumping-off point for the author to put these two characters through all kinds of insane, over-the-top crazy comedic situations, switching from one genre to the next at random sometimes, constantly peppered with uncensored explicit sex scenes throughout. It’s really pretty fun to read, and I cannot stress how different it is from everything else I’ve read. From the characters to the dialogue to the sex scenes themselves, author Harada totally confounded my expectations in really delightful ways.I will say that the humor is pretty extreme and *probably* not for everyone. For example, there is a fair amount of non-con/rape in one chapter, and for the most part it’s presented humorously and brushed off. So if you’re not really into the idea of explicitly-portrayed rape played for laughs, then this manga may not be your cup of tea - to say the least. The art is absolutely fantastic - it’s incredibly detailed and sharp while retaining a really cool retro vibe to the character design, which I love. And as I mentioned before the art is uncensored, something I always consider a major plus as I dislike seeing art defaced for political reasons. As this is a KUMA release the production quality of the manga itself is absolutely stunning - glossy white pages with rich black ink, fantastic translation/localization (which is essential for this manga especially), plus a dust-jacket and a color insert at the beginning. KUMA mangas are worth buying just for the fact that their standards for the physical publication of their manga is head-and-shoulders above every other English yaoi publisher to ever exist. All in all I have to give this a 5/5, because it so unique and different and cool, with truly gorgeous art that’s beautifully reproduced. But bear in mind the warning that folks who might be offended by the idea of “comedic rape” will probably want to steer clear.

Good art but odd story.
I wasn't a fan of this manga. I read other reviews saying that one of the characters is raped, but none of the other characters take the allegations seriously. It's true. But, what the review failed to mention was that the rape is still happening in the present. And yes, there is a scene of the rape happening. Read this manga at your own risk.
