Screen for Home Air Vent Filters 4"x10", 2-Pack

Didn’t fit well with our registers. Only purchased a couple of weeks ago and now that I need to return, it is showing that this item is not eligible for return. Very disappointed that I wasted $12. Did not see any wording about not being eligible for return before I purchased and if I had known this, I would not have purchased.

Ordered a 4 X 12 inch.Package says 4 X 12 inch.Not 4 X 12 inch. Quarter inch smaller.Doesn't sound like that big of a problem, except that you can't stretch a piece of cardboard over a metal register according to installation instructions.And the creep doesn't allow returns.

This item is not returnable. It didn't fit our vent, and we didn't realize that they would not return it, now we are stuck with it and have no use for it.

If I could give it a negative star I would!! I know this is a cheap price for this product but I didn't expect to receive fishnet pantyhose from Spencer's. This is the cheapest piece of material you can buy! You also CANNOT return this item so I would suggest looking elsewhere for floor register traps. I should have just cut my regular pantyhose, they probably would have worked better. So unhappy with this purchase...BUYERS BEWARE!

These things are cheaply made, don't really install securely, and even when you put it in it get's caught opening and closing the vent.

These seem to work fine for my heat registers, however, depending on the kind of register you have, although they could be better. They fit the 4x10 register damper box perfectly and are easy to install. If you have the type of dampers that slide back and forth to change the air flow, they are fine. If you have the type that are louvers that rotate to open and close, that may be a problem....the louvers can get stuck on the netting. If you just set the louvers how you want them, no real problem, but if you adjust them frequently, it may take a bit more effort to lift the register out of the floor and adjust the louvers. Not a huge problem, but if they just made the net a little deeper there would be NO problem. For the price, it should be deeper. While there are alternatives for the sliding type, there are any I see for the louvered type, so I guess I'll make or.

Our house was designed with floor registers, which, in my opinion should be against design rules, since everything seems to fall into them. We liked the decorative metal registers/vent covers, but couldn’t trust them around little kids. Then I found these mesh covers. They are made of some sort of mesh fabric, and fit pretty well over standard-sized registers (ours were 4” x 10”, and 4” by 12”, which are the sizes available in the screen catchers.) The only complaint I have is that when the registers are fully open, the screens seem a tad small, and not quite deep enough, but it hasn’t really been a big problem. It would be better if the screen were made of a stretchy mesh material to adjust to slightly different depths. Otherwise, I like that it is thin enough not to impede airflow!

Other than the fact I ordered the wrong size, they work great. I kept getting small bugs in my bathroom and could tell they were coming up from the vent. Now I can walk in bug free!!
