Jandy3406 Space Saver 3 Port 1-1/2 to 2-Inch Positive Seal Pool/Spa Valve, Gray

I had leak in my pool, and was not sure where it was coming from until July 4. I had drained the pool due to excessive rain, and could not get the main drain value to stop leaking. Also the system was sucking in air. We determined it was the Jandy valve. My pool is 22 yrs old and the valve is original. Thanks to good advice from other reviewers, I ordered the valve. Since the housing was good, I was able to remove the 4 screws and replace the new diverter assembly and handle within a matter of minutes. I may have been able to save by buying the diverter separate and some new O rings, but this met my skill level much better and corrected the problem. I was so relieved as I was envisioning having to get someone out and having at least a $200 bill. Everything working perfectly now!

Jandy does not support this Valve with Jandy iAquaLink Automation. This valve is not compatible with any automation you may want in your pool system. Please avoid this and use the standard valve. Bad Design !!!

These valves are fantastic. 1 1/2" PVC slips into valve, and 2" PVC will connect to outside of valve using a female slip coupler.. in case anybody is wondering why this one valve is listed as both 1 1/2" and 2". It really does work for both.Tip: Make sure to use new PVC cement, if cement is gummy at all replace it, so you don't mess up your nice new valves like I almost did.

The valve was very well-made of good quality I had to return it due to having ordered the wrong size which was my fault.

I was told this part would cost $85 in the local store.I found it here on amazon.com for $37 and it was very easy to install.All I had to do was unscrew the four bolts, pull the guts outof the housing and place it inside the existing housing that was already installed in my pool line. The entire job took me three minutes to complete.I found out that my valve was bad when I closed the valve to the skimmer (the water in the pool fell below the skimmer intake) and air went into the pool pump any way. I am about to purchase another one of these valves.

I had this valve for over 15 years to switch between the main and skimmer intake in my pool. Recently my pool pump started taking in air, which I suspected due to the handle of this valve not being able to take it anymore after over 15 years. I ordered a new one and replaced the handle that easily unscrews. Worked like a charm! No more air bubbles pumping into my pool!

Perfect one way valve for a tight space. I had to replace a leaking valve Installed by the pool co. Wanted one that could fit the Space and be permanent while allowing the internals (valve , seals etc..) to be replaced. This one fit and performed perfectly. I use it to control the waterfall feature. It's sized for a 1.5" pvc pipe on either side. I purchased the 3407.

We are thrilled that the diverter valves were delivered on March 17th & the expected delivery date was March 30th. Very happy that we can repair our pool equipment almost 2 weeks early. The pool has not been running for over a month due to a severe winter storm in Texas.
