Presto02939 Cold Brew Nitro Coffee Dispenser, 48 ounces

First, this isn't going to turn bad coffee into great tasting coffee. Nitrogen adds a little flavor. I'd recommend using two 2g nitrogen charges. If using an 8g N2O charge, only use one. I recommend nitrogen.Per online instructions, only add 48oz of cold brew. I'd bet the reviewer who had coffee "explode", filled with too much coffee and/or gas. Add one 2g nitrogen charge, shake, and let sit for 20 mins. Add second nitrogen charge (skip step if using N2O), shake again. Let sit in fridge for one hour. I shake everytime before dispersing.You can use any cold/room temp coffee. However, cold brew is going to be the best option for taste. If using concentrate, dilute before adding. You could dilute in the canister but you'd need to know the total to ensure not over 48oz.I've used this numerous times without any issues. Very consistent results. I've tried with one charge of 2g nitrogen but prefer two. This also produces a nice cascading pour with nitrogen.

I recently purchased the Presto Nitro Cold Brew and it has exceeded my expectations! While the process of making it may take a little bit of time, the end result is worth it. This is a one-star product as it only lasted one use. They ask east questions in the rating that will be five stars because, at its core, it is just a metal cup… THE PROBLEM IS the plunger used to extract the brew failed and EXPLODED in my face when I was adding the nitrogen covering my entire kitchen in coffee and scaring the crap out of my kids… it was pretty comical but not safe AT ALL.. I dismantled and checked all the O rings and tried again, which happened AGAIN. This time is, I viewed it from the side and could see the coffee shoot out of the plunger, which I assume has an inter to ring preventing pressure from getting through… I can’t and shouldn’t be required to dismantle that part to fix it.
