Versatile Option
I sweat a lot…. salty sweat, so this is a necessity. This stuff works well and is a bit more versatile than flavored options. I can mix it in a sports drink I buy on my long run or dump in chocolate protein afterwards (which is actually pretty good). That said, I don’t think I’d try it in plain water.Yes, it’s salty. That’s literally what it is.

No flavor
This item has a lot of electrolytes but zero flavor. I just add a packet of flavor with electrolytes. It works really good

Good n Salty
I have used this product for long distance triathlons that were held in hot and humid locations. They work well and are a good product, but the taste is pretty salty. I understand they should taste salty as they are high in sodium and other electrolytes that you sweat out, but I found that I wanted to drink it less in a big race, which is not a good thing when you need to drink a lot of fluids. On my next race I only used 1/2 a packet in a 25 oz bottle and it was much better. In different scenarios the taste has changed for me. I think a lot of how you will perceive the saltiness will depend on how cold your drink is, how dehydrated you are and how you are feeling mentally at the moment.I have only mixed this with Gatorade. The taste is not horrible (if you can swallow gels and such you will be able to get this down just fine) but it is not great, especially in a long race where your fluids have gotten warm. As far as what they claim to do, they do add much needed electrolytes.Recommendation: These work great for replacing electrolytes and preventing cramps etc.. but if you are super picky/sensitive to taste, this may be a salty punch to the face. I have never tried another electrolyte replacement so I don't know if they all taste like this. I bought these because I use a lot of Gatorade products and think it is a great brand.

It's cheaper than the flavored ones.
I mixed it with generic sugar-free lemonade. It was good. I found I didn't need that much potassium and switched to just adding salt to my lemonade.

A Must For Runners
When I'm on my longer runs I always bring a Gatorade gel with me. These are perfect for fueling mid-run to get some carbs back into your body which is so important during longer runs and races. This was my first time getting this flavor and I really enjoyed it. It's a little sweet but still very good.

What in the Gastrointestinal Heck?!
5 stars for pre-colonscopy clean out, needing a week off work or extreme constipation.I'm not an athlete, which was probably my first mistake. Secondly, just because that sick girl on Tik Tok uses it and loves it, certainly doesn't mean it will work for me.I am the unfortunate owner or a genetic disorder that causes wrecked connective tissues which comes with a side of dysautonimia and POTS. I require electrolytes daily, high sodium electrolytes to be exact. My doctor recommended Nuun but all electrolyte drinks and mixes are the same, right? Nope, apparently not.I got my Endurance Gatorlytes packets in the mail, quickly tore open a packet and mixed it with a 20 Oz Frost Gatorade. It was yummy...as I had already grown accustomed to saltier beverages. It had half my daily requirements for electrolytes...so later in the day, I chugged another. All was well until the next day, my morning coffee sent me to the restroom for an urgent visit. It started normal but all of a sudden, my stomach cramps up and it was like spring cleaning! Courtesy flush? No, I has to flush bc the pot was getting full. After an hour or so, I thought it was safe and I couldn't possible have anything left in my system. So I cleaned up and went about my day. Although my stomach was a bit cramps, I went through the rest of my day. After dinner, I suddenly felt a burning in...well, fire in the hole! I ran to the bathroom, cheeks clenched and barely made it before an explosion of what can only be described as sewer water. The splash was worthy of a water park attraction and I had to clean the toilet after.Thinking I was sick with some tropical disease, worms or salmonella, I called my doctor who told me to go on a bland diet and to be sure to stay hydrated. You guessed it! I had more! Because in my head, I didn't associate the two until 8 days later, a box of immodium and nothing but toast, rice and water. This h3llscape lasted for nearly 2 weeks. But I told my daughter, "I'm going to try it again, just to see if the Endurance packets were the culprit or I had some sort of bug."Well, that day came this past Thursday. I was feeling a bit constipated and thought, hey, worse case scenario, I'll only use one drink and it will clean me out. But again, it was probably a virus. Surely all these people from Amazon liked the product and there were no horrific bad um, toileting effects. What in the toilet paper shortage? Thursday evening I was no longer pinching off time marbles but softer much more comfortable....UT OH...SPRING CLEANING TIME!This went on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and again, we are at the Waterpark again, terrified to be more than a few deep from the bathroom. It's Sunday and I'm in bed, praying for relief and thanking the God's that I only drank ONE packet this time. Not sure how long this trip to the Gatorlyte Waterpark will last, but I learned my lesson and will be living on a diet of rice, toast, applesauce, water and Immodium until I'm normal again. So just beware that this isn't the best for SOME people....it could be my MCAS or just my sensitive digestive tract....so if you're anything like me, please for the love of all that's pure in this world, be careful, stock up on TP, Immodium and bread and know that if this happens to you after drinking it, it's the powder and not a tropical illness from the grapes you bought the other day.And to those who can tolerate it...more power to you!! Keep up the good work.I still have a box and a half left...am wondering if I should thris it out or keep it for an excuse to get out of business meetings or for extreme weight loss. But I will be needing Depends undies. Thanks Gatorade.

Some packets weren’t sealed correctly in this shipment
Overall, I really like these packets. I notice I drink more fluids when I use them. They’re great for rehydration for sports activity, working out or simply working outside when you’re sweating a lot. In my most recent shipment, several packets weren’t sealed correctly causing them to leak. Only one packet was completely empty but several are lighter than they should be.

Perfect for long runs
I’ll use two or three of these during a multi-hour run and they definitely keep me going. They are easy to pack and taste great. Only thing I don’t like is the narrow opening on the side. I can’t use one hand to push all the goop out unless I fold it, but since the opening is on the side instead of the middle folding blocks the goop from exiting.
