Save A Pint With A Broken Gauge
The Weekend Brewer 0-50psi Heavy Duty CO2 Keg Charger works great. It performs almost perfectly. If it had shipped w/out a pressure gauge it would have been perfect. That’s because the gauge broke while dispensing the first mini keg of beer. It did so well dispensing that keg, I didn’t care about the gauge. I decided I wouldn’t send it back & just keep using it. That was almost 3 years now (purchased December 2016) & it has pushed out a lot of beer & cider. Even w/out a working gauge, I feel this Weekend Brewer Charger will continue to serve up delicious beverages for years to come. That’s because the body of the charger is built really well (like the name says, Heavy Duty, just not the gauge). This charger & mini keg dispenser setup doesn’t just look cool, it’s an investment. With this little setup, I do not have to worry about drinking 64oz (more if you have the tall mini keg) before it goes flat. I can pull the tap & charger off, put the mini keg in the frig & it’ll stay carbonated until I’m ready to drink it. When I’m ready, I just pop the tap & charger back on & pour. No more throwing out that last pint because it went flat.If you have a mini keg, you need The Weekend Brewer 0-50psi Heavy Duty CO2 Keg Charger (plus Double Ball Lock Mini Keg Dispenser & tap), as long as your okay w/possibly using it w/out a pressure gauge.

FANTASTIC item, so much utility!!
I got this unit to help push brew out of a corny keg at my brother's picnic. It is a very solid unit, inspires confidence in your hand, and appears to act fairly accurately as a regulator. It worked flawlessly, and one and a half 16g bulbs were enough to push 4 gallons of pre-carbonated brew. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE: with a 16g bulb and the open nozzle, you can use this little wonder to purge carboys you're filling up for poker night. Also, I just got a beergun for bottling right off the keg, and with the included 5/8 adapter and a 74g CO2 canister, it becomes considerably easier to purge your bottle prior to fulling since you don't have to tap into your house CO2 manifold on your kegerator or keezer. There are likely other uses for having portable C02 around your brewhouse, and this little wonder really opens those doors. As far as accuracy and blowing the needle, just be careful as you attach bulbs to have the regulator knob set to off. The unit has a sensitive threshold, so don't just turn the dial like you're tuning your car radio. With reasonable caution and common sense, I can't see why this unit wouldn't last for years.

It works well on a 5 gallon Korny Keg
I used this over turkey week and it worked well. 4 stars since the setting the pressure is a little tricky. I found that when I put a new cartridge on it, I had to let a little pressure off the keg with its pressure release valve to balance it out.Side note. Each 16-gram cartridge dispenses about a gallon of beer, so if you can find the larger 78-gram carts, you should get through one full keg.

So far so good
Work good so far, haven't used them to much yet I had another one that didn't last too long but I like that they'll take both sides cartridges give it 4 stars maybe in a little bit of bump it back up to 5 but for right now we're going to give it 4

Regulator was great, but the disconnect was too snug.
The regulator worked excellent, and seems to be very robust and heavy duty. I used it with 74gram CO2 chargers. The grey plastic disconnect was a little too tight for my ball-lock valve on my keg. I had to force it on the keg. When the keg was emtpy, I had to use pliers to force it off, and damaged the disconnect. I unscrewed the diconnect and replaced it with a higher quality part from my local homebrew store.

Regulated pressure on small growler a wonderful thing
Solid little instrument that gives the user control over the pressurization of their keg or growler. I have a small growler and manual pressurization was very tricky. It was easily overcharged. With my first filling of my small growler with a thick-headed stout, I was able to dial in a pressure that worked best for that ale through trial and error. It ended up being only 8-10 pounds of pressure in a 32 ounce growler. I had some trouble maintaining pressure over longer time between uses, but will report back on that after more experience. However, if you are going to drink the entire contents of your growler at one session (say over four hours or less), it will maintain the proper pressure the whole time. The Weekend Brewer folks have been very responsive and helpful, but the ale was consumed quicker than adequate testing allowed.

Good build
There is some slop and play in the knob, but I left a cartridge in for months and it did not leak. Tricky to tell how open but otherwise very good.

54 starts only because I haven't tried it yet
Just received mine yesterday. SOLID unit. very easy to change from 3/8 to 5/8 for different size c02 cartridges. It also comes with an extra rubber washer for both. Unfortunately I haven't tried it out yet but sure it will work great.

Works well but lacks precision
This looks like a good quality product. No leaks with the cartridge or the keg disconnect. The pressure indicator does not look very precise: if you set the pressure with the knob and then release the gas through the adapter a coupe of times, you will see the pressure indication move by +/- 4psi. Also, the knob is very sensitive: a slight rotation translates into a big change of pressure. These are the 2 reasons why I give only 4 stars. However, it will be perfect for what I intend to use it (occasional picnics).

Be prepared to be disappointed
Had to go through a couple until I got one that is good. Ordered this product 4 times. Only because I couldn’t find one locally. One of them they gauge didn’t work. Another package had missing fittings. Another package regulator didn’t work.
