The lights work best if used with polarizing filters.
I like that the lights are cool and do not harm the polarizing filters I clipped onto them. For best results I also use a polarizing filter on the camera.

Excellent unit but instructions are absent
Upon opening the packaging, it was obvious that there were no instructions. I very poor resolution photo was on the outside of the box. After looking at a photo of the assembled unit on the Amazon web page, it was relatively clear how to assemble the unit. I have attached two photo that should make it much easier for others to figure out how to assemble the unit. I would purchase this unit again.
