I liked the shampoo

I love this shampoo for sooo many reasons:The first being that it came in a gigantic container which is very helpful when you have as many dogs as I do.The second is that I love the smell and how shiny it leaves their coat.The third reason is that the oatmeal is addressing the allergies and itchy skin from the environment or food related.Make sure to dilute 16:1. It has a pleasant tropical smell.Please note: This will not provide any flea and tick protection so just be mindful of that when ordering.

I like using this with my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, who gets really scruffy with her long fur. This shampoo spreads easily to lather her up, and then rinses off completely to help keep her skin from being irritated. I like to give her little baths, since she's a small dog, and I like how this shampoo dilutes into being almost a bubble bath for her. I can spread it all over her, and then use the bath water to make sure I get the hard to reach places like between her toes. She rinses fully clean afterwards and smells clean, looks fluffy, and doesn't seem irritated by shampoo residue. I think I'm not diluting as weak as 16-1, but even at a slightly more concentrated amount, it still spreads easily and rinses clean. It's a great value, too, to get so much product for the price.

Our dogs have sensitive skin and trying to find something to give them some relief has been a bear. While there are a lot of shampoos on the market that claim they have oatmeal in them and will give them relief, our dogs show us otherwise. I finally decided to get a professional shampoo to see if there would be a difference and I am so happy to say that yes, there is a difference.First off, the shampoo smells amazing and works into a good lather without a lot of work. It also rinses incredibly clean and we're not left wondering if we left shampoo behind. Our dogs smelled and looked cleaner but the real test would be to see how long they would have the relief they needed and how quick the shampoo really worked.We are impressed. Whereas before, we would see them itching and scratching just hours after their bath, we have not seen that in the slightest with this one. They seem more relaxed and happy and that, to us, means the world.This is a super concentrated shampoo, while you can use it full strength, if you follow the directions to the letter, this gallon jug will actually make 16 gallons of shampoo. We are super happy with the results and I'm glad that we have more than enough to get us through the next few years, at least.

I am really happy we got to try this dog shampoo... it is probably my favorite smelling dog shampoo to date! And once they are dry, it leaves our pups noticeably smelling better for a couple of days after the bath.Because this comes in a big jug, I poured some of the product into our previous dog shampoo bottle and added enough water until the shampoo was a tad too runny. I found a runny mix really helps spread the soap around our dogs and gives us a good lather.I am also happy to report this product also rinses away easily. And it leaves the dogs coats shiny and smooth. I'm really happy with it and I would buy this shampoo again, for sure!

Love the smell and it works great for my sensitive dogs. Stops the itching. Foams up well too so you don't need that much. Good product.

This is a great shampoo for our pooches -- one is an elderly long-haired that doesn't particularly care for baths and she will take every opportunity to roll around in the grass or dirt as soon as possible afterwards. The other is a young puppy that is just getting used to having a bath. He is a short-haired dog really enjoys his bath and all of the pampering that comes with it. The shampoo smells great and so do the dogs, at least for a while. I thought the fragrance might be a little overwhelming for the pups, but it doesn't seem to bother them. I like the idea of colloidal oatmeal in the shampoo; it leaves the dog's coat smooth and shiny and there is no skin irritation. I've never used a conditioner but often thought about using one. With this shampoo, it doesn't seem necessary. The gallon of concentrated shampoo makes a LOT of shampoo if used in the suggested 16:1 ration and it is so easy and so much more economicalical than the $12.00 bottles I used to buy that were only 14 ounces or so. The current price of $34.99 is a great deal, and I will definitely look at other products form the Bark2BAsics brand..
