Plug and play perfection for general use
For casual dual audio source recording on Apple iOS devices, these offer two lavalier microphones paired with one receiver. If you are recording a video, this kit will let you have two people/sources connected to one device. Imagine having two people posting a how to video or conducting an interview - this has you covered. Is is pro-quality not likely but, the sound is quite clear and there appears to be noticeable noice canceling present. Talking on either mic I only heard the person speaking and no wind or other area noise. The best part is the plug-and-play. No special app, no settings, nothing. Just plug in the receiver and turn on one or both microphones. An added bonus is the pass-through lightning port on the receiver that lets you charge your Apple device while these are in use.Ideally, the set would have an USBC to lightning adapter - this would let you use the receiver on iOS devices that do not have a lightning port. Not a ding. Just something worth noting as there are other products available at a similar price containing the flexibility. At $40 MSRP these are worth a try

Good sound offering flawed by omissions in accessories
The media could not be loaded. Ā Sometimes when reviewing products, I have very mixed feelings about them. Some elements of the product are great, but there's something (or a few somethings) that drag an otherwise good product down.Sadly, that's the case with these lavalier microphones. The things that are good are really good. The set comes with a duo of microphones. Two is a great number for...well, two reasons. First, even if you only need one, you have that extra one in case you run out of power during an event. No problem, no need to recharge, you have your backup. Second, you can have two people as the focus at the same time. That empowers you to do better presentations, better recordings, and have more flexibility on nearly any project. Two is really great! The receiver on this set has a pass-through port for charging while in use. Brilliant! Every one of these wireless sets should have that, but this is the only one I tested that does. And the sound. They are microphones so that has a significant bearing. the sound is as good as I have heard in these small sets. In fact, there is a lot less background hiss by default than using the iPhone built-in microphone (listen to samples back to back in the sound sample I posted). They give you extra wind covers! Yes, these are always getting lost or ripped. And the price. Quite low for a dual-microphone solution. So what could they do that messes up a 5-star rating?1) NO CASE. Even a non-charging case is important to store these in a way that can be packed easily. The only choices you have are to use the bulky box or buy your own little case. Nearly every other mic system gives you a charging case, which helps charge two mics simultaneously from one cable because they give you2) ONE CHARGING CABLE. Not a cable that can charge both mics at once. You can only charge one microphone at a time with the cable they supply. They should have given two or, better yet, a dual cable. Two mics. Two mics. Cables are cheap. Don't make me supplement what I buy with more stuff...I want a complete package when I buy a solution3) SIDEWAYS CLIPS. Most microphones like this include some kind of clip to attach to clothing. These microphones clip sideways (or said another way, they clip perpendicular to the length of the microphone). Why can the manufacturer include clips that rotate to offer more flexibility for the placement of the microphones?Honestly, that latter gripe is a little less important than the first two. The simultaneous charging is importan5t and since they look identical, it's just a matter of time that people get confused about which one got charged and which one didn't.So instead of being an extraordinary solution, it's an okay one that you can make better by buying some additional stuff. But since you can't buy a charging case for this....it's still going to be an inconvenient set to use. There are better solutions out there.

Easy to use and is a good microphone
I've been using it for a few weeks now and I think the quality is good. You get decent range from the transmitting mics to the receiver, and the sound quality is good. For cases where you need to mic up two people it works very well. It did seem to have some problems connecting at the very beginning, but it cleared up on its own. Might have been local interference.I use it for YouTube audio and conference calls on Zoom. The quality is good and maybe just a bit less noise cancelling than air pods, just to give a point of comparison. Over all I think they are a good product and I would recommend using them.Again, you get TWO mics, so if you keep them both charged up, then you should never get caught with a bad mic.
