Visually, this thing looks great! But if your forearms are very thick at all, you're going to have to modify it pretty heavily to make both pieces fit. Upon trying it on, the bracer does not fit over the blade rig. The strap just won't reach. My plan is to cut the blade off the rig and attach it to a compression sleeve with velcro. I'll also have to replace the bracer strap with 2 longer straps to hold it into place. Not sure yet how I will attach the 2 straps. I don't think hot glue will work. Something I have to consider for a while.The spring is pretty lively, no problems there, yet.The blade itself came slightly droopy. But I think I can work with it.Overall, this is pretty decent for a costume. You'll just have to modify it to make it work for you.Once I have modified it, I will post update pictures.

When I had gotten the gauntlet there are no box and no instructions. I had to make sure it worked so I activated it and the rubber blade came out, but the tip seemed permanently warped, and to make it worse, the blade wouldn't retract. The blade would slide back in but it wouldn't click and hold to be activated again. Was very disappointed

After 10 times of extending the blade, it stopped locking in the closed position. We sent it back.

Junk. Price is too high for such low quality. Blade came flying off first time it was ejected according to my son. Sent it back.
