Doesnt help as much, as I expected.inflamation and pain

I chose to try Nested turmeric, since I have had previous good experiences with this company’s other products. In fact, I still use Calm and D3/MK-7. This turmeric has a little less per dose than what I was using. However, I do believe it is of better quality. I love it has black pepper, since I heard this helps with absorption. I have noticed no changes or adverse effects since changing to this one over what I was using. I guess that means it is working. I have been using turmeric for 6 years. I do wish it did not contain rice, so that is why 4 stars. I have heard rice can have a high content of arsenic. It just depends on where it is grown due to rice absorbs arsenic from the soil. I am sure this small amount of rice is probably okay to ingest daily. I guess I should check Nested other products more carefully, since I honestly do not know if they contain rice too.

I am very skeptical of supplements and the multibillion dollar unregulated supplement industry so wanted to try Nested Natural's Turmeric for at least 30 days before reviewing or recommending this supplement to friends and family. I have also done extensive research on the active compounds in Turmeric (curcuminoids). I have (or had) exponentially worsening hip pain that at times left me unable to walk and never knowing when it would occur; getting out of bed, a chair, the car, or just turning a certain way. Only 600 mg of ibuprofen and a heat pad would alleviate the acute pain and that was worrisome in the long run. We were going on a long road trip and I was really worried about sitting in a car all day. This is my story: 1 week before we left on the trip, I started taking 1 gm morning and night. In 2 days (!) I felt a little less "achy" and saying to myself, too good to be true! In 1 week and, into the road trip, I realized I was experiencing very little pain except between 4-6 am. Don't know why. In 25 days, that early morning pain also went away along with my shoulder pain. I haven't taken an NSAID in 8 weeks. Though I'm well aware that my hip will have to be addressed eventually (some movements can trigger pain), Nested Turmeric has been a game changer for me, allowing me to manage the inflammation until I choose to do something different, like surgery.

I got this product to help me as I’ve started running every other day during the week. I don’t run normally and started high intensity internal training fitness classes as well, and I needed something to help with the knee pain that I have in my right knee. I would say this supplement has helped (I’ve taken this for 2 weeks) and it’s improved the likeliness of my joints to feel achy and tense. The pills are easy to take, but a bit on the larger side, no after taste or anything even tho there is a hint of black pepper listed in the ingredients. It s a good purchase and definitely can help over time with aging and physical activity. I like that there is no smell or taste, like any other supplement, it is not an overnight miracle or cure. I would recommend this to those who want to get some joint support and are moderately active and are comfortable with natural supplements made from real sources!

Nested’s Turmeric formulation must be the perfect ratio of turmeric and black pepper because I’ve never experienced nearly immediate inflammatory pain relief with any other turmeric supplement. Black pepper is key for an effective turmeric supplement Turmeric cannot bind to inflammatory cells without it.Two capsules daily and my usual moderately painful chronic lower back and toe joint pain is usually 100% gone. I also have thumb joint pain which is hard to manage but I do find relief with this product.The capsules are easy enough to swallow as they are clear gel caps. Tip: Drink a little water then take the capsules with water. This helps make swallowing the gel caps even easier.I will be making this a recurring order and that is a first for me.

I was taking an inexpensive brand of turmeric, and then I read an article about the importance of black pepper extract for turmeric to actually reduce inflammation. The cheap brand I was using didn’t have that, so I switched to Nested Naturals. I was already familiar with the brand since I use their magnesium capsules with good results. What a difference! I felt my pain levels decrease within just a few days. I’ve used these for a few months now with consistent results, and I cannot attribute the reduced pain to anything else, since my meds have stayed the same.
