It looks very minimal which i like. The shaft doesn't have any large knobs, curves, or buttons sticking out of it which is why I bought it. It's a nice, clean line. I like the adjustable head. I went with this over a built in LED floor lamp because I wanted to reuse my Philips wifi light bulb with Google Home which works well with this. One thing that I wish could be better is the shade itself. It looks a little on the cheap side. It's not terrible. But there's more to be desired. I actually took the shade from the lamp I was replacing and am using that instead.

So close yet short but so little. If only the parts were able to fit correctly! The stand comes in 3 separate pieces that have to be twisted on to connect together. Well, for me, the first two pieces closest to the base twisted on just fine. Then came the very last piece. It didn't twist on all the way and is slightly tilted so the lamp doesn't stand erect the way it should. Plus, there's the issue with the lamp part itself. I think there's a piece missing because the lamp shade doesn't sit on properly.I bought two of these and have only set up one so far. (The order came two days ago). But, now I'm almost afraid to set up the other lamp for fear of being disappointed again. I guess it really is true - you DO get what you paid for and at the time, this lamp was 18.99 - which is exactly why I bought it. Next time, I'll go for quality other than price. :(EDIT: I'm revising my review to say that all IS well with this floor lamp! I fixed the issues by just putting in a little bit more muscle into twisting the parts together and now I have two floor lamps in my living room that brighten like no other! I was too quick with my first review. These lamps rock! The illumination I get from these lamps is priceless!

I received my floor today. It was packaged great and was easy to put together. The base has a heavyweight to it and keeps the lamp steady. The lampshade is plastic which I like because it's something that won't break but it looks like glass. It's the perfect height and is elegant enough for my living room. The only thing is that the lightbulb shows when you have the lamp angled down but it doesn't matter because I point it a bit towards the wall. It gives me plenty of light. I liked it it swivel so I can point it up when I don't need to have it lit up right where I'm sitting. Definitely a bargain and definitely a nice floor lamp.

I was on the fence with the reviews on this, but I'm glad I decided to get it. The package arrived as expected (it was heavier than it looked) and putting it together was a cinch. The stand is sturdy, not something that would easily topple over.Cons: the power cord is too short, so I have to put the lamp close to the socket. I also though I would be using the swivel function more; with a 100-watt bulb it just seems too bright to have the lamp shade down, so I use the lamp almost exclusively as a torchiere.

So far so good. Took 5 mins to set up. I didnt even look at the instructions. Im 5'4" and its taller than me. I put in a 60 watt yellow bug light. Its a cloudy day outside. I cant wait until nightime to see if this has any ambiance. Cord is short. Be warned. Great value. High quality for the price. Unbeatable.

Very cheap product. It is not built to last. If I try to move the lamp a little bit it feels like it's going to fall apart. With that being said, the price is very reasonable and it can be broken down for easy storage. If you are looking for lighting that is really cheap and you're not concerned that it looks cheap too, then buy this. If you are looking for quality, do not buy this lamp! I have been using the lamp for almost a year and it still works.

Just got this. So far, I really like it. Fairly easy to assemble. I recommend spraying a little WD-40 on the threads, as you're putting the pole together. I have had many similar lamps that never seem to assemble "straight" up and down, but this Adesso lamp is straight! Great that the shade swivels so I can direct it high to give off more light, or lower to target reading or crafting. I hope it lasts.

Better made then I expected for the price. Well packaged and easy to assemble. Good weight to the base and the color is clean over the aluminum body which screws together with machined ends. The lamp top can be adjusted and need not just point straight up- it can pivot at an angle which is nice for shining the light off a wall and ceiling. Great lamp for the price- simple and clean.

This lamp is not going to be mistaken for anything more expensive but for what you pay it's hard to complain. The shade looks and feels cheap but the rest of it goes together relatively straight and tight. The base has a good weight.

great floor lamp, swivel 360 and up and down.. they need to work on the packaging though, foam was everywhere when i opened it.. it was a mess but awesome product.

It has a slim design so it tucks away behind our couch nicely, just where I wanted it.

I was concerned after reading other reviews of the pole parts not fitting together but the one I got assembled with no problem. Not sure about problem with cord wearing/splitting where you swivel the lamp head but I won't be moving it anyway. One issue is that it is very hard to move the lamp head position - you have to use a lot of force. Also, the shade is really thin, flimsy plastic but you can only tell when you're handling it.
