The labels are all written in Japanese. No English so I came to the reviews for use instructions. I had read the review prior to purchase. Looked positive very affordable. I read to massage a small amount on face. The dead skin will "ball up" then remove with water and or wet washcloth. I've never used a product like this before. I'm happy to have found it. Just as promised dead skin balled up and I removed it after about a minute. I didn't want to leave it on for too long my first try my skin is sensitive. This didn't burn or irritate me. Used the washcloth to ensure all product was removed. My skin feels amazing now!! Love this stuff. Would've used on my ankles too but I'd just purchased foot peels from Amazon so want to try them first. Amazing stuff. So happy with price and performance.

The dead skin just falls off with this stuff. Your skin is left so smooth. I have very sensitive skin and did not breakout with this. Leaves your skin very soft and smooth with no irritation . It’s very mild and gentle but packs a punch when it comes to removing dead skin. I actually use this and then use my facial cleanser.

I rarely write reviews but this one warrantedit.This is an excellent gommage for a ridiculous price.The English instructions on this Japanese product and many comments reveal a lack of understanding of the function of a gommage.If you’re following the instructions, putting this on then rinsing it off when it dries this would be a disappointing product.The proper way to use a gommage is to put the mask on, let it dry, then rub it into little balls on your face until most fall off,The stickiness and texture of the gommage picks up and removes excess dry skin and contaminates.A warm rinse and toner after will reveal beautiful, clear, bright skin.Enjoy!

Does not do a good job gripping to the dead skin cells.

I am in my 60s, and find it to be gentle enough to use almost every day. I apply a small quantity on forehead, each cheek and neck and rub it making small circular motions while my shower warms up. Then rinse it in the shower. It leaves my skin glowing, clean feeling. I noticed a huge change in an enlarged pore which has shrunk to be almost invisible. It is a little difficult to reconcile how gentle the rubbing action is that yields those little white balls of product and dead skin cells, but it really works.

Wife really likes this product and uses it regularly. No complaints or issues.
