Qty (2) Compatible With Ford Mustang 2005 To 2014 Trunk Lift Supports With Spoiler Shocks Struts

I used these to replace the factory supports on my 2011 Ford Mustang GT California Special Convertible. This car has the special spoiler installed on the trunk lid. These supports work just fine to hold-up my trunk lid. I was a little concerned when I ordered, because there was some confusion in the product description as to whether these supports are to be used on trunk lids with or without the spoiler. These are working well with the spoiler. Easy to install and working well. Hopefully they are more durable than the factory supports.

Old Mustang trunk shocks were shot so I picked these up for cheap. Huge improvement! I wish they auto lifted the lid slowly but with the hinge geometry maybe that was never a possibility. These struts are STRONG! past 1/3 the opening radius. Even with the junk factory GT spoiler these things cause the trunk lid to aggressively fly open past half-way range of motion.

The trunk lifts are working very well and were easy to install using the instructions included in the shipment.

These struts were reasonably easy to install, and work very well. I found in addition to a long skinny screwdriver, a Harbor Frt Dental tool kit with the hook on a handle increased my ability to change tubes greatly.
