This cage is amazing!! It was relatively easy to set up, super easy to clean, not that it necessarily matters to the animal but it looks good!The only reason it lost a star is because (I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it for dwarf hamsters as they can injur themselves in cage bars so a tank is better) if you’re going to use the homes & wheel they are only big eveough for dwarf hamsters or mice so you need to buy more, but they don’t cost much to replace.My Syrian hamster Bean is loving life in his mansion, the base s big enough for him to dig and there’s plenty of room for toys etc.Very happy hamster :)

We bought this cage today for our little Russian hamster. It is quite a big cage which is good as most cages are too small even for a small hamster.I totally agree with the many previous comments. As it comes flat pack, it is not simple to put together. I managed to set up in about 30-40 mins. In my view, it's not very sturdy. I like the idea and I guess they are trying to keep the price down but needs better connectors. Two of the corner pieces split so will need replacing albeit they do still hold enough for temporary measure. The corner pieces should be better quality and would improve the cage with proper clips at the top. For larger hamsters, I am sure they can escape through the top as nothing really holding top down other than some flimsy clips.As I have a russian hamster, it couldn't cope with the slidey ramps until I lowered both platforms to as low as possible.Despite the clear faults in the design, it is one if the largest cages out there which for me is main thing. Ideally, I would have preferred to have the three tiers but half the height of the cage for my little hamster. Over half of the height wont be used. I introduced my hamster to the cage. She seems a little scared of the ramps but did get up and down them with a little struggle. Will try again 2 or 3 times to make sure she can cope with them before I decide whether to keep the cage. I'm sure for larger hamster, the ramps would not be such a problem

Bought this for mt hamster and he loves it. the instructions aren't the great to follow when putting together as they are just pictures and not of great quality

Good value for money- study cage. My 2 Russian dwarf hamster are now living in a mansion! Had to lower the 2nd tier as they got a bit scared of the height- possibly a bit too big!

Not the best cage

Fantastic cage very spacious for 2 rats.

Whilst the item is roomy and meets the requirements of my Syrian Hamster, putting it together was difficult. The item comes as a flat pack which contains 4 metal rods to connect the side panels. Putting 3 sides together is easy but once you need to add the 4th it becomes difficult. For what should have been an easy assembly it took me nearly 2 hours of constant fiddling about. Until all 5 pieces of cage are properly connected the panels are flimsy, because of this one or the other would regularly fall out. By the time I had assembled the item felt like I had a full workout. Whilst the cage looks great once assembled, the design for assembly is dreadful, so I can't recommend it.

I absolotuly hated the construction of the cage as soon as i opened the packaging it was split and cracked and all the side poles split.DO NOT BUY
