A MUST for homes containing automotive enthusiasts. Applied and pushed into grease/oil-stained fabric just prior to washing, Stain Devils is the best laundry aid I've found. I use it in tandem with Dawn dish soap (pre-treat) on my spouse's work clothes.

I got this to remove tar from my husband's work shirt. I worked pretty well and got most of the black off. I think it would have worked better if I had used it the first time I tried to get the tar out. My initial efforts spread the tar out into a brownish haze that has taken several cleanings to fade. When I tried this on fresh tar it worked better. Try not to spread the stain out by just blotting.

This is the only product I've used that actually removes coffee and tea stains. An added benefit? When treated clothes are washed with other whites, the entire wash comes out whiter. I've never tested this on colors or man-made fabrics, but for washable cotton whites, it works wonders without damaging the fabric - IF you follow the directions. It even lessens perspiration stains.

Several blouses had greasy spot from Aquaphor use on a wound (it seeped through the gauze pad). Aquaphor recommended the motor oil remover by Carbona (#7). While diminished, none of the spots were eradicated. Most garments had not been in the dryer - only washed and retreated. So disappointed!

Carbona Stain Devils are great pre-treaters. I have all of them! This one did not work as well as the others. I had to use several times, and then use a petroleum distillate one (which I try to avoid).
