Kids and I had a dance party on the patio the night we got this. We love the rainbow feature and the fact that you can make it flash multiple colors quickly or choose the fade to next color option. It's also extremely useful as a regular light source. I use it to sit out on the patio and do my paperwork after the kids are in bed. I love that it's rechargeable. After using it I just pop it in the charger for an hour or 2 before I go to bed and it's always charged for the next time I need it. I did test it when I first got it to see how long it would last on a charge. I charged for approx. 2.5 hours the day we got it and then the kids and I had our little dance party for about 1.5 hours. I then used it for about 2 hours a day for 4 days in a row (mostly on bright white) before I noticed it was not as bright as it typically is. Therefore, I'd say you can get a good 8-10 hours of use per charge before it needs to be charged again. I was very happy with that as well . Remote works great. I will say, if you're having an issue, make sure you have the sensor facing the remote, I had an issue for a second but quickly realized I had the sensor facing away from me in the opposite side of the metal umbrella pole so naturally I just turned it around and voila... Issue solved. (The sensor is near the power button). If you're on the fence, get it. You won't be disappointed. Check out the pics... They speak for themselves. So fun.

Great product. Works well with my purple leaf umbrella. The only thing is that you have to take it down to close the umbrella.It has several colors that are bright enough for comfort. Easy to install and stable.Good value for money.

Seems to work ok but I need to know if it is safe to charge USB when Batteries are in the system????? Is it??? Distance for the remote control is less than what is advertised. Anything further than 5 feet is difficult to turn on and off.

Bought two of these for the two new backyard umbrellas. And they work great, easy to attach to the umbrella pole and provide ample light, and changing light colors are very much liked by a 13 year old. I have also found another usage. They work great as boat lights I can attach under the top to provide more tham ample light coverage at night. A great buy for a pair and he price. Will buy again if needed.

We really like this unit. The only caveat is the remote range is VERY limited. You literally have to be standing within a couple feet of the table for it to connect, It definitely does not have a 16' range, that's for sure.Added comment 9/22/22: The yellow color for the unit went out unexplainably. It had worked fine until now, and the other hues still function. Because of this, I have reduced my rating from 4 stars to 3.

I recommend it and I like it. It works well. I wish it was a little brighter, however, I can still read with certain lighting. I would purchase it again.

Remote only has a three foot range and unit falters in wet environments.
