They work better than anything else I've tried.
I've had a number of these under different brand names for years. One set of neighbors downstairs were chain smokers. The current neighbor is a pot smoker and never opens her apartment up, and my wife had gastric bypass surgery years ago and she destroys bathrooms. I could not coexist with her without something really effective. After years of trying traditional charcoal filter purifiers, over the counter products like candles, sprays and deoderizers, and other types of ionizers, these are the obsolute best. We even take one on vacations because all too often large hotel ventilation is just too lacking for her bathroom issues. These have a finite lifespan which is OK as they no longer cost $70 each as they once did. If you open one up, there is just a small fan - same type used in electronics, and an exposed circuit board/power supply and corona discharge needle mounted on the board. This circuitry gets completely exposed to everything that passed through including moisture. You need to clean them which I've learned is best limited to vacuuming air through the back vent and blowing them out through the front. Don't disturb the needle as some online instructions say.But one of mine is still functioning after more than four years. They seem to last a couple years running continuously then the fan gradually fails. I think it's actually better to run them continuously than often turning on and off, causing that little fan to cycle up and down wearing it out. They make your place smell like a swimming pool.Ozone is actually a health hazard. It is three Oxygren molecules. O2 binds to a third oxygen molecule as it gets electrified through the thing but that third breaks free easily and binds to dirt molecules in the air changing it's chemical composition. But what it does on the outside also happens in our lungs - Oxidation, which is corrosive. Contrary to manufacturers claims, ozone generators are never recommended by the EPA.But these have an adjustment knob, up or down so you can set it as you please. If you start having resperatory issues then perhaps they're not for you. Luckily I never have nor anyone I've recommended them to, which is many. Personally, I'd rather smell the chlorine smell than farts. They work. They are so effective and they remove odors so well. I've known people to use them in office restrooms that are located too close to the work area. They save the day.

GREAT product and great customer service.
I bought two of these (so 4 units total.) as I just got some new kittens and was trying to mask the smell of their litter box. they work great! I have one in my bathroom (where the litter box is) and it is more than enough on the lowest setting to cover smells. I have another in my dining room (open floorplan so it's technically the kitchen and living room too) and when I have it on during the day it fills the whole area with fresh ozone scent (for those that are unfamiliar, it's a bit similar to the chlorine smell at a pool. but it's NOT Chlorine.) it covers pet smells and cooking smells just fine, though it does take a bit of time for the smells to be neutralized as expected. I thought I was going to need all 4 for my small home (2 bedroom, 1200 sq foot) but, really 2 is more than enough. one on each end of the house covers it all!I had one that was faulty right out of the box. I would plug it in, and the light would flash and it would make a clicking sound - basically wasn't staying on like it should and I was afraid to keep it plugged in. I contacted the customer service email, and they were so kind. they asked for specifics of what the unit was doing, and a brief video so they could confirm and were able to give me a refund on the unit. They were so pleasant to deal with.the only downside to these is that they are a bit loud for their size. (it's like having a oscillating fan running on high - and this is when they are on low.) I cannot keep them going all day as the sound bothers me a bit, but not enough to return them or not use them. I just turn them off when I feel their job is done. I will be ordering these again in the future if need be.

HVAC tech approved!
These little units are great plug ins but ONLY when you’re not in the house or room. I’m currently using them in my apartment when I’m gone at work. Turn them off when I get home and go for a 30 min walk to allow the ozone to revert back to oxygen. No smells left behind. Ozone is absolutely a lung irritant and should not be actively present in your immediate breathing environment. Ozone is a great deodorizer and oxidizer but it will oxidize the lining of your lungs, cause irreversible damage. These units are very strong and are not accurate with the mg/dose. Again absolutely do not run this by your air return to spread ozone around the house or put this in a room while you’re home. You will get a head ache and feel different. If you’re looking for air purification you can use while you’re in The house, contact your local hvac company and look into “whole house uv lights” they lack ozone but add hydroxyls, another powerful and safer oxidizer that you can have in the home with you. Overall great product for specific use. IF YOU HAVE PETS DO NOT USE WHEN THEY ARE IN THE HOME IT WILL KILL THEM

Great to kill kitchen cooking as well as pet bedding odors
I have larger ozone generators for treating large areas. They put out so much ozone that it isn't safe to be in the area due to the respiratory irritation of too much ozone. I find these plug in ozone generators are ideal for occasionally cleaning up the air. I have one in the kitchen. If there are some smells lingering after cooking a meal, I'll turn it on low as I go to bed. By morning, the room smells fresh and clean.I keep one running all the time in my home office where my four dogs sleep at night. The ozone output seems low enough to not pose a respiratory risk for those in the room. The slight buzzing sound can be heard but it isn't annoying. It's about as loud as a table fan. Not as loud as a box fan.All in all, I'm very pleased with these plug in ozone generators. I've actually given them as gifts to other dog lovers!
