Kick arse product!
I'm something of a newbie to oil clay and had my fair share of frustration with it, but once I got Monster Clay I was truly amazed. When warm the clay is pliable like taffy and allows you to build up forms quickly. When cold, it's rock solid and holds details beautifully! So far I'm glad I spent the money on a superior clay, since all others seemed to fail at getting the response I wanted from a modeling material. I've sculpted things like miniature heads, zombies, etc. I couldn't get that with softer polymer clays and even gotten detail in where Van Aken failed. Thus far, it's premium stuff! So far a dip in the freezer will get the clay to harden if you're stuck in hot room with no air conditioning, otherwise it's like molding taffy. Foil core armatures (balled up aluminum foil) provides great stability especially when working small and allows the clay to cool off and hold while you warm up another batch to shape.Perfect for prop builders, DIY haunters who want something awesome, or just folks looking to break into maskmaking or effects. This clay is definitely at the top of my list!

Great product.
It holds details nicely and it's very easy to use. I used to use super sculpy but it wasn't very good for higher details. I also bought this little 20oz crock pot that I use to keep a batch warm and ready for sculpting.

I love Monster Clay.
I've been using Chavant NSP since college. I've tried nearly every type of clay on the market from wax, water and oil based clays. I started using Monster Clay in Jan 2015 and it is now without a doubt my go to clay.Pros:1. It has a very low tacky feel to it so it's easy to clean your hands and tools unlike a lot of other clays.2. It's non toxic so you don't have to worry about pets or children eating it and getting sick.3. It has a very low odor to it that is very hard to detect at least for me.4. It has a very low heat index so you don't need a lot of heat to get it into a malleable state. I'm using a heating pad to heat my Monster Clay.5. Works great with a heat gun, and alcohol torch.6. It's light compared to other clays so you will get more clay volume to weight ratio.7. It hardens up very well to allow a nice level of high detail. Not as high as you would get from using wax, Cx5, or Castilene but still very good.8. No need to process this clay just heat it up or cut it up and your ready to go.Cons:1. Price is a tad bit more expensive than other industry standard clays but not by a whole lot.2. Only comes in brown. I would like to see a neutral grey color or perhaps a neutral green.

Shorted.
I only received 18lbs of clay when I paid for 20lbs.

My favorite clay so far!
It's pretty amazing clay! So easy to work with, and I like how I can warm it up for initial build up, then get higher and higher detail as it cools and hardens. Good value, too, when compared pound for pound with other modeling clays.
