I’ve used this fan about 5 or 6 times over the last 2 months and it has worked great, but on my last golf outing, I was driving on a bumpier than usual cart path and the fan bounced and broke one of the legs right where the screw goes in. It’s still somewhat usable but it only hangs upside down now because the 2 remaining legs can’t hold the weight of the fan up.Update: The seller reached out to me and sent me a new fan at no additional cost. I’m definitely pleased with their customer service and I will try to be a little more cautious of the fan and how it is secured this time to avoid any more breakages

This first broke after only using five times. My husband was able to fix the mechanism that connects the circular fan part to the legs. Using it the sixth time, one of the legs snapped off! And now since it's a little over a month, it's past the "return policy" guidelines! Certainly it's made in China and I will now look for an American made product and not waste another dime! Garbage all the way around.

UPDATE - Very happy with the company. They were so great to refund my money. I love the fans but I don't think they should be used on golf carts (that was what I was using them for).These fans were awesome for about 2 weeks. The assembly that holds the fan on a service (looks like a 3 armed octopus) broke on both fans. They are unusable now.I used these on a golf cart and they were great (when they worked). The are no longer usable. I would NOT buy these fans.

I really liked this fan and it seemed to have good battery life and provide a decent amount of air for a battery operated fan, but one of the tentacles broke the third time I used it so it's pretty much toast now. Not sure if I got a defective unit or this is typical of the quality. :(UPDATE: within 24 hours of this review, the seller contacted me and apologized and offered to send me a replacement for free or refund my money. Since I did like the product before it broke, I opted for a replacement fan and it has worked just fine.

I purchased two of these fans last Sept 29th for my golf cart. Due to illness, I was not golfing so only used the fans on and off for 3 months. Today, I hit a bump and one fan went flying off. The screw holding the legs mechanism snapped off. The fans are powerful and I was pleased with my purchase until today. The screw needs to be much larger to hold this size fan. If you're not mounting it on a golf cart or using it on bumpy ground, it's great.

Output of golf cart usb at our club is not sufficient to charge this fan, however the battery last a whole round or two without recharging. Does seem to surge and back down on speed but this does not seem to affect the performance .

Tri pod leggs broke off with minimum use bought at Christmas for a gift and didn't use until summer when used tri pod leg broke off

I purchased two of these fans less than a month ago. Opened them up and was surprised to find them fully assembled which was a definite positive. I charged them completely and loaded them in the vehicle secondly right after the clubs of course for a day on the golf course. I live in SE North Carolina on the coast so the summers here can be brutal with the high humidity. I strapped one to each ride on golf cart using the adjustable twisty type tripod, turned them on to the high setting and away we went. The first round played they worked great and lasted the entire 4 hours. I charged them completely before the next round and repeated everything above. This time one lasted the whole round, the other one did not. It maybe made it 3 hours. Didn't think anything about it so prepared them for the third usage and off we went. This time one fell off the cart when it broke where the fan connects to the tripod and fell off. Of course I was unable to find the black neck looking piece but it was unrepairable anyway and it should have not come apart after few uses. The second running on high setting again only lasted 1.5 hours which made it pretty useless on an 18 hole round. As far as the light on the fan it is very bright and I guess is a great option in the event that you need it. Of course with the battery life getting increasingly shorter and shorter after few uses I don't see how using the light and fan could be beneficial. I have started a return with Amazon I will be mailing both back. If anyone has suggestions on a better fan that you use for your golf cart please chime in and let me know. Thanks
