Worked great to level off edge of lifted sidewalk slab
I bought this with the intention of using it to shave down the edge of a lifted concrete sidewalk section in front of my house. Having never attempted to grind concrete before I was not sure if it would work or how long it would last. I am happy to report that it worked extremely well! It is not as fast as a dedicated concrete grinding machine but my angle grinder and this grinding cup did the job in under 15 minutes for less than 10 bucks! The results are better looking than when the city comes and does the job and I didn't have to pay $300 which is a win-win in my book! As an added bonus I would estimate that after grinding down 2 feet of concrete by 1/2" the grinding cup still has about 50% of its life left. I am impressed with this product and would highly recommend it if you are looking for a cost effective and simple solution for grinding some concrete.

Did a great job on concrete
This did a great job on concrete. Had a raised section that was a pain, so used this on a simple angle grinder. It comes with an inner ring (for smaller arbor) - I took that out and used the larger diameter directly on my angle grinder and it fit and tightened up perfectly. As you probably saw in other reviews, grinding concrete generates a LOT of dust, so make sure you have a dust mask on, safety glasses, and if it's not windy, use a fan or something to blow the dust away from you. The cup design did a good job of not getting hot and blowing the dust out of the grinding area - you just want to make sure it goes away from you. I found that just using light pressure worked best - it took off a fair amount of material, wasn't tiring, and didn't really seem to wear the disk down. I got the yellow cup with 12 segments (heavy duty model B) and it has a ton of life left in it even after grinding a significant amount of concrete. It also left the concrete nice and smooth, which was an added bonus. Highly recommend this if you have a concrete project.

Decent wheel for use on leveling uneven concrete/cement areas of a floor or sidewalk. Seems to last.
Does a good job, for being an unknown player in the grinding game. [I never heard of the company before finding this product on amazon].We ultimately needed to get one of these, to remedy an issue from our local city office. They mailed out FIX IT Notices for "Uneven sidewalk" segments. We first tried using those $2 to $4 so-called Masonry/cement grinding wheels. What a waste of money! Those are the cheap wheels hanging right above the side grinders at homedepot or lowes.Had I known just How Much better a cupping wheel like this works, I would have bought it initially.Almost a night and day difference between how this diamond cupping wheel works Vs. an el-cheapo $2 or $3 masonry wheel works. The concrete and its dust really were something to behold when this wheel went to work on those "uneven edges".Clouds of dust were produced without hardly any pressure being applied. I just let the cupping wheel float over the area needing to be reduced. Was easy to get a nice, flat, clean looking concrete junction between the two adjacent concrete segments of my sidewalk.NOTE: I tried to throw some dollars at local area businesses but their product selection and pricing was just too high. When I went to Home Depot, I saw only the well known brands like Bosch, Dewalt, Milwaukee cupping wheel grinder pieces. However, the prices on those also were "premium", starting at like $50 and going up from there.Pros:- cheaper than name brand cupping wheels- seems to last quite a long time, even when working with cement and/or concrete- arrival was a mixed bag. Supposed to be available for receipt by week's end, but then was told it would be a few days later. Ultimately it arrived a couple days earlier than the "will be late" message indicated.Final result: arrived like a day later than first indicated, in time for my needing it, so not a problem for my needs that week.CONs:- can wear down a bit faster if you bear down on it quite a bit. (Another family member took a more aggressive approach than I did and while they finished removing concrete faster than I did, the blade wore down a bit more than when I used it).Comments:- it's probably been said in a thousand places online, but these cupping wheels and use on cement/concrete WILL produce a ton of dust. When I used it, we were outside and had a nice strong wind. So we just setup upwind from the grinder's dust output. Usage inside a building would definitely benefit from some sort of vacuum system for dust.- previously when helping a relative install a new kitchen tile floor we used a large handled 9" scraper blade. Which was painful and slow going.I hadn't known about diamond cupping wheels those many years ago.Next time we re-tile, I will try a cupping wheel like this to remove old tile, adhesive, grout, etc.

Cuts fast
I used it to smooth out some concrete. I worked really well. I did 4 x 3 square and there's plenty left to do other projects.

It works! Don't think twice about buying.
So I typically only write reviews when products are awful, but this is far from that. For the price this product is great. Similar products from box stores cost 2 to 4 times as much.I bought this to remove paint along cracks in concrete basement walls so that I could repair them. Still pending! I did use this product to grind a half inch ledge in concrete to repair a grate over a pit. This thing ground the concrete into dust in a matter of minutes leaving perfectly smooth ledge. Other than losing the yellow paint where it came into contact with the concrete, the thing looks like it just came out of the package. There is one warning for this product. It creates a lot of dust. You may want to consider this and get a disposable angle grinder so you don't ruin your good one or buy a dust shroud.

Solid Grinding on Slate and Wood
The media could not be loaded. I've been really impressed with this grinder attachment. Seeing that many different ones were for sale on the site, I went this one because of the price and simply because it looked solid. As you can see in my video, this thing absolutely devoured the slate table top I was working on, grinding it down almost a quarter inch in very little times. Yes it's hard to grind even a soft stone completely smooth with this grinder attachment, but it's a great first step.I've also used this grinder for an initial treatment on rough barn wood, and it's worked well. Sanding after takes much less time. It's a simple tool that does the job and lasts longer than a grit grinder wheel. So I like it a lot.

Only good for small jobs. It’s made in China but is it
Don’t expect it to do large areas but, for small jobs ok. Its made in China but it does the job. Make sure that you read the translation on the package. Trust me. You and your friends will laugh your A$$s off for weeks. The package instructions alone makes it worth every penny. I loaned out the package to some friends in other states and didn’t get it back. Oh well. I’m glad that it’s giving some humor to whom ever is reading it. Be safe people.
