This is another of the Tefal branded, Jamie Oliver endorsed kitchen products that on the face of it have little to do with the core Tefal products. It is made from sustainable Acacia wood that has a dark/light grain and works well as a chopping board. Like most of these types of boards, it is not a single piece of wood but several strips glued together.The sides are bevelled down and the top has a groove all around for catching any juices that come out of whatever is being cut. There isn't any pouring lip though. There is also a Jamie Oliver/Tefal logo stamped into it, but this is quite shallow and not the easiest to read.I have been using it now for a few weeks and it still looks great. Like all wooden boards you do get some marks from cutting on it, but they are not deep and more importantly they have not caused the knives to blunt either.It isn't the cheapest board out there - no celebrity endorsed products ever are - but it does what it says and is not too expensive. The design also goes well with the other new Tefal Jamie Oliver products that also use Acacia wood - so you can match up your kitchen.

This is a rather smart chopping board complete with a ‘juice groove’ to catch any liquid from cutting meat or possibly water-rich vegetables. It also has a Jamie Oliver and Tefal engraved product identifier on the top of the board.The board is well finished with a smooth surface although you can feel the grain of the wood. It looks a though it’s been treated with either a varnish or oil. It certainly looks good.However, compared to other chopping boards the price seems to be a little inflated - probably as a result of the celebrity chef Jamie Oliver endorsement. It’s also not very thick - at around a centimetre - so might warp over time. I prefer a heavier butcher’s block boards. It’s made from sustainable wood but is nonetheless made in China which impacts on its sustainability credentials especially as it’s obviously been shipped half way around the world.Overall it is more of a statement chopping board that a professional product. It’s fine though and worth four stars.

Very happy with the product and it is also elegant in my kitchen. Its size is perfect, having 37.4X25.1X2.2 cm and 1 kg, it is made of wood and it is impossible to drain the food from it thanks to the well-thought-out hole. The color is gorgeous.

The chopping board looks lovely but marks more easily than I had expected, I only use it for making sandwiches, so I am disappointed

good solid cut of wood that's smooth with no blemishes.has Jamie olivers stamp in the middle and a juice groove around the edge.washes well with no swelling. Overall its not a very thick chopping board so doesn't have much weight to it.still looks great after uses.

This medium chopping board is extremely smooth and well cut from a solid bit of wood.Well coloured and will look nice at Christmas.

Perfect size. Feels good to use. Looks good. Works very well!
