Henkel Loctite 401 Super Glue Instant Adhesive 20 gram Sticks Metal, Rubber, Ceramic, General Purpose (International Version) - 1ea

Purchased for use with 3D printing and cosplay, ended up using it for just about everything. At one point I accidentally glued a piece wrong, and from sheer frustration tried to throw it to break loose. Let’s just say the 3D print broke before th glued joint gave.

The front label and instructions on the back are written in, what looks like, Korean. For those of you who only speak English, you'll need to go to Loctite's website to learn how to use this item. I also had to use a screwdriver to pry open the outer cover. However, the adhesive itself is AMAZING! I have a laptop that slid off a table, breaking the two little plastic posts holding one of the lid hinges to the base. The damage was not covered under warranty, so it would have been an expensive repair. I applied this adhesive to the broken posts and to the back of the hinge as well. I pressed it together for a few seconds by hand and then let it sit for 24 hours. The hinge has worked perfectly for weeks now. There is a lot of tension on that hinge as I open and close it several times a day. I am very impressed! The foreign language label and a very difficult to remove outer cap kept me from giving this product a five star review.

Don’t know if this stuff works, haven’t been able to open the bottle without breaking it and the instructions are in another language.Just found out it’s not returnable. Just another life lesson.

I like this glue well enough, when I get to use it. But the lid glues down solidly to the tube every time. The design is seriously inadequate. One day I'm just going to throw it away and get something with a tighter lid so that the glue doesn't leak into the lid.

Good stuff. Exceptionally strong when used with PLA in 3D printing, but cures slowly with plastic -- must be left to set for a few hours.

Last year I purchased Loctite 401 40140 Clear. It came in a white translucent bottle. That version of the 401 super glue set up much quicker than this version in the blue bottle. They both say Loctite 401, but they are not the same glue in my opinion. If only I could find the older version.
