Good Publication - Fingerprint
The review is about the product and not the writer's work.Normally Amazon reviews do not mention the publication, hence the reader is confused whether the print is abridged, quality of the print etc. This review is for Fingerprint publication.I have got many classics from Fingerprint publishers. The print size is good. The paper quality is good.Their books in general are unabridged. So it makes sense to go for their version of the book.

Get a different version. Buy elsewhere.
The story itself is interesting and after losing my old copy I decided to get a new one. However, this book was so awful I have now repurchased another else where to replace this one. Despite the book being quite big, the text is incredibly small but also awkward in having three columns per page. I am an avid reader but really struggled with this format and couldn’t get past a few pages. Very disappointing and a waste of money.

Attractively produced. Rather marred for me by more than a few misprints.
Quite large, quite heavy book, attractively produced, with reproductions of old illustrations. Clear print, edition rather marred for me by more than a few misprints.E.G.p.26. "Loose Bessie's hand, child" is printed as "Loose Bessie's hand, a child."p.119. " .... becomes my task to advert" is printed as "... becomes my task to the advert."p.178. "Brocklehurst, who I understand directs .." is printed as "Brocklehurst whom I understand directs ..."p.251. "I wondered to see them receive .... that look which ..." is printed as "I wondered to see them receive .... that looks which ...".P.447. ""having already begun to experience" is printed as "has already begun to experience." But for these would have had a higher rating.

Pretty cover but not good overall (Seasons Edition - Summer, Hardcover)
The novel itself needs no introduction, or review. The 'Seasons Edition - Summer', limited edition Hardcover from Thomas Nelson is disappointing, however. I wanted a special edition of this classic, and was drawn in by the stunning cover. But, the book contains errors (e.g. Pg 195, 6 lines from the end, 'façade' missing the 'c'), which should be unacceptable in these sort of editions. The paper used looks and feels like printer paper, brilliant white, and very bland compared to usual book paper. The occasional colour pages with highlighted quotes add nothing much, and the quotes seems to be chosen at random. Illustrations would have been a better way of making this a special edition. The cover is indeed a plus point, but overall the edition feels cheap, which is the opposite effect I was hoping for.

Gorgeous little book
This is my first purchase of a book from the Macmillan collectors library collection and it is just fabulous. The book is beautifully designed and high quality. The size of the book is very good as well- it could be carried around easily but it’s not so small it affects the print quality. The text is a good size and easy to read. The story itself is a timeless classic and one every reader should read. Overall I am very pleased with this product and definitely recommend this edition!
