1 LB ORGANIC TUMERIC Root Powder 100% Pure (Curcuma Longa) TURMERIC,

I'm on my second pound of Tumeric from PowerNutrient Shop. First bag felt fresh, powdery, and a bright orange color and would be a 5 star rating. This second bag contains a brown (the color of dirt) and lumpy tumeric. I know variance happens, but this is pretty dramatic. It does not taste or smell fresh, even though the expiration date is Jan 2021. I plan to return it if they allow - bought this bag in Jan 2019. The picture does not do it justice to how brown it is, especially as compared to my first batch.***UPDATE - healthworks demanded I upgrade my 3 stars or they won't help me. So I did upgrade my review, but to 1 star - sorry I will not be bullied. Just do the right thing and own your mistake - that's my motto.

This is the real deal folks. Like many seniors I found out that the Snap, Crackle, Pop sounds were not coming from my morning cereal. I read and read about the benefits of Tumeric and many results looked impressive. So I ordered this particular brand. I'm so glad I did. I'm not going to say I'm now able to dance the Pasodoble or theSamba (ballroom dance) which my dance skills are more like me doing the Pee-wee Herman Big Adventure dance. I have noticed a definite improvement in joint pain, so for me that's a plus.I plan on updating this review as I continue to use this product. For what you get this is one of the best Tumeric out there. The price is great too.

I use this spice in my Shakshuka. It is very fresh and delicious. I also put it in my senior Akita’s dog food to lessen inflammation and aches, and it definitely works. She gets half a teaspoon in the morning and half at night. It also helps her stay “regular” as it is a digestive aid. If you plan to begin treating your pet with curcumin be sure to start with a very small amount and gradually increase the dosage over a couple weeks until you reach the recommended daily dosage.Edit: Be sure to research black pepper as an activator for curcumin!

This is different from the bag i brought it taste gritty and it taste off trying to get in contact with seller to get another bag they can have this bag back also it's hard to get contact with seller.The first and second time I brought this product it was good this time it has a gritty texture i trying to get in contact for a replacement this bag is terrible.

I use turmeric as a pain management tool and it works very, very well. I can't tell whether this particular brand works better than other brands I've purchased, but since it's organic and until the price goes up I will say this is worth buying especially for helping with inflammation in the body...wish I could say more but for my purpose this is a very good product

I purchased this product to make medicinal Golden Paste. I believed it was your traditional Turmeric powder which is cooked in the process of making the powder. I am disappointed because the advertising is misleading. The packaging is ambiguous in that it says 'Curcumin 95%." I believe that is wrong and that it is whole turmeric powder. However--there is another problem. If you look at the bottom where it says "Ingredients: Raw, Organic..." etc--this was not cooked in the process of turning it into powder. In fact, it was only dehydrated and powdered. So to make golden paste with this, you'd need to cook the turmeric in water for at least 30 minutes or longer, not the 7-8 minutes given in the recipe for Golden Paste. I'm not trying to say that this product couldn't be used for Golden Paste, just that it would need to be cooked longer than you'd cook a traditionally prepared turmeric powder. The company is also guilty of mislabeling it, with the claim that it's 95% curcumin, since it is almost certainly not a 95% curcumin extract.

This is very good stuff. My wife is picky, like... Midwestern steak and potato's no fish gonna get goiter and does not care picky. I made "curry". recipe, = this powder, coconut milk, and coliflour on top of rice, oh and some salt... I like salt. My wife at it and asked for seconds. I was actually shocked because well, she does not do that when I cook. I love this stuff.

I have no way of know how pure this is, but I do not see any odd sized particles or colors mixed in. This was my second lb of turmeric as I have a good amount daily to keep inflammation down (had cancer). BTW, it is delicious and necessary to add oil and peppers to this spice to get the full impact of its goodness. Excellent with eggs, rice, sautéed veggies..
