Yuasa YTX20HL-BS-PW Performance Battery

When ordering this battery I was told that it would for sure fit my 2016 sportsman 570. It is too big to fit in the cradle on the frame. Will not fit and is not as advertised. Hopefully the company will send me the correct one and I'll send this one back to them so I dont waste my money or time again. I posted a pic to show how much shorter and wider it is.

I did not rate "longevity" because the battery has only been installed for 3 weeks. It fit my 2014 Victory Cross Country Tour.

It said it would fit my 2017 XP 1000 Polaris but it didn’t. Not even close. Cannot return. I just lost my money and have a useless battery to dispose of now. Very upset.

This was a replacement for the original battery that came with my four wheeler. It was very easy to “put together”, and install. Great value for the money as well. These seem to be really good batteries from my experience anyway.

It did not fit in the Polaris ATV that Amazon said it would. Thankfully it will fit into a Yamaha ATV that I have, because Amazon deems it not a returnable item. Didn’t understand how they can ship it to me but I can’t ship it back to them?

Yuans is the go-to brand in powersports batteries. I’ve tried other brands but always come back to them. This battery has to be activated, which I like. Don’t rush the initial charge and it will provide you with many years of use.

according to their sizing it was supposed to fit my Polaris atv. not even close!!!!

I bought two of these a month apart. The first one's sealed acid bottle had some cells not full, AND some with a lot less acid than others (some only 2/3 full) . It looked odd, but did I not worry about it since the acid pack showed no sign of a leak so I filled the battery as the instructions. The second identical battery I bought a month later had each cell of the acid bottle completely full and all the same level. Now i know that is how the first one should have come. Yuasa has always been good batteries, but I should have returned that battery that is now under filled and has had the caps sealed as per instructions. Should have been caught by quality control.

Just pulled this same battery out of my 2013 Sportman 800efi. Upon researching for a new one, this battery still had good reviews and replaced it with the same. Not sure if the one that came out was factory or not as I’m not the original owner of the ATV. Best case scenario in that case, the original lasted six years. Guess nothing lasts forever and it’s the cost of doing business. Had to add the acid that comes with the battery, but is pretty straight forward and hard to mess up of you look at the directions for thirty seconds. I Battery must sit with acid in the battery for a couple hours before charging. Overall can’t complain and would buy again if needed.

I've seen many negative reviews on Amazon.com and Amazon.ca for Yuasa batteries because people blindly trust Amazon's vehicle fit guide. Yuasa has a very good vehicle lookup tool on their website at www.yuasabatteries.com. Check what battery you need there instead of asking Amazon what battery you need. Yuasa batteries are top notch if you buy the right one!. All my of BRP vehicles use this same battery - my Ski Doo, Sea Doo, and Can Am.

My first time ordering an ATV battery on Amazon. Having to activate it yourself wasn't a big deal, and probably makes it safer for shipping. Arrived quickly, charged faster than expected, and working great. Amazon will now be were I look first for replacement batteries. Same products as the dealer at a significantly better price.
