MXLMics Microphone Mount (MXL06),Black

Very nicely made. Used it to replace a missing shockmount for the MXL R144 and it fits nicely. The one that came with originally actually was cheaper made than this replacement. Would buy this brand again definitely.

I decided to take a chance on this shock mount for $19.95 at the time of purchase to use with my recently acquired used Shure KSM27. Fits perfectly despite seeing claims from numerous people on forums that only Shure's overpriced $60-80 mounts will work due to the tapered body of the microphone.A seller on Reverb who also has a site for their own brick & mortar store sells these same shock mounts with an inflated $50 price tag listed for numerous microphones from many manufacturers including the KSM27 / SM27. This seller just alters the model number of the mount slightly in each of their listings.Totally recommended if you need a basic shock mount.

This shockmount is very well built and it also matches the color of most MXL mics so it looks great. It is NOT the right size for the MXL 990 which I bought it for (my fault for not checking size) however it is still possible to make it fit, it's just not as easy to move around in it because the 990 is fatter than most MXLs.

This is a great deal for a good shock mount. I have two MXL V-250's and bought one of these to see if it works. It's fits perfectly, and it's silver like the microphone. I'll be ordering another one.

Holds my mike, and comes with replacement bands. Very simple product. Not sure what to compare it to, it is my first in more than the laptop screen microphone recording technology.

Like many I'm sure, I've taken advantage of Amazon's fantastic price on the Audio Technica at2020. The one problem with deal? No included shockmount. The AT shockmount that fits the 2020 is at least $50. I wanted a more affordable mount. And this MXL is perfect. Fits the 2020 like a glove. Only problem is the color difference, but I can live with it for $30 savings.
