Twister

I remember where I was when I first saw this movie. I had just moved to Cincinnati Ohio & we went to the theater 🎥 the day it was released. Since that day, 'Twister' has been one of my all time favorite films.I love the acting cast, comprised of Bill Paxton, Helen Hunt, and Phillip Seymour Hoffman, two of which have passed on from this life in the recent years.Conclusion: Twister is a MUST SEE 👀 movie for any and all people! A true classic!

An all-time favorite. Every couple of years we have to pull this movie out and watch it. It’s an all time favorite

* SynopsisAn academic group of weather and tornado researchers and scientists are in the U.S.A. chasing tornadoes to collect data and to help comprehend how they work for better public safety. Prof. (Helen Hunt) was married to her former researcher colleague in the same scientific inquiry. He is visiting this group to finalise the required signature on legal divorce papers. He learns that his concept is to use sensors to collect real data from inside the tornado and help comprehend these phenomena in a better way. His other former college has copied his idea for his own and is irritating. There are forecast a dense selection of powerful tornadoes and so they rush to these. In the rush, the papers are not signed and so he tails along for fun and for the signature.* CommentaryThe computer's special effects are great. The social structure is a bit on the lean side. In the cinema, the sound is great coming from all angles. I enjoyed this movie as a good fun movie.

I know you can now get UV films and purchase and hold films in places like Flixster etc on line for you to view as and when ever.But for me I love placing a disc in the player and watching it as and when I please without the need for 'going online' all the time.This is one of my fave films.I love everything about how they've laid out the story, how the twisters get bigger and emotions soar. I love the funny bits of 'flying cows' etc and the good old fashioned 'the experiment works' in the end. All finished off with a kiss re-cementing relationships.Recommended

A fantastic look at Storm Chasers.Trying to get a better warning system the team work to deploy Dorothy. Add to the mix, romance, a marriage breaking up, fantastic footage of twisters and great special effects plus an amazing cast, along with another team of Storm Chasers you have a fantastic film.Even though it is old on bluray it is great to see things more clearly and the sound is great too.

I got this on Blu-Ray with fingers crossed that the transfare to Blu-Ray format would not be dissapointing. Thankfully both sound and picture as it turns out are really fantastic. Unlike titles such as Dances With Wolves that had been just awful in both sound and picture quality. I was worried that some of the special effects in this movie would show a lot of flaws due to the fact that it was not made with high definition as a forseen event in its future. A couple of scenes did reflect slightly but on the whole the movie made the switch so well that I felt that I was watching it for the very first time. If Twister was one of those movies that you could watch again and again then buying this title is a MUST.

If you haven't seen it (WHAT?) take a look for the stellar cast and insightful writing. A great one for anyone who recognises the heartfelt brilliance of Bill Paxton.
