This appears to be a treated stone to make it appear as jade. I knew it wasn't (you would NEVER get a real jade necklace for this price) So that did not at all factor into my review.The piece is very pretty. Has a nice weight to it. Must be machine carved as another reviewer stated. The beading on the "chain" is very nice! Not individually knotted, but again, price...Overall, I am quite satisfied with this. I would gift this as well. If you don't expect "real" gem quality jade, you won't be disappointed. Also, to address another reviewer's comment that theirs was black as obsidian, my second pic is this piece next to a bodhi satva obsidian piece.Recommended.

Very pretty. Not sure if it's real Jade, but it doesn't look like plastic or anything like that. The beads on the necklace are plastic, but the pendant itself looks like a real stone.

Exactly as pictured; I was skeptical about this being jade a first glance, if you turn it over you can see the slight jade crystal matrix in the back - almost certainly machine carved as this excellence by a human hand would cost much more. Very happy - it gives me a mortal kombat kind of feel that I was looking for.

I like the overall design of the amulet along with the beads but the string holding it together is weak. Mine broke and I lost many of the beads that makes up a part of the necklace 😪!

Is not green. Fine print says the jade dragon is obsidian but calls it jade. Color is not like the picture but extremely black.

I love the design and aesthetic. The pendant and beading are excellent. The string used as the base of the necklace broke or came untied after a week. Just not a good choice of material.
