This was the only soap disponser which had a 4 ft hose enclosed.Hose can be cut to required length) We needed this as the soap dispenser was located behind the sink and we would be unable to use the small soap container see how full or empty it was. I now use a gallon milk jug, fill it with soap and insert the hose. No worry of running out of soap and able to see when fill up is required. For the price an excellent unit.

This dispenser arrived quickly. I bought this to replace the old one (bought 2 years ago at Home Depot) that broke. It broke where the head is attached to the siphon tube. I am happy to say they have re-engineered the head assembly to beef it up and it looks like it will last longer now, in my humble opinion.The only reason for subtracting a star is that the new head style is a little difficult to get it to go down inside the tube that goes to the bottle. The operation was also a little stiff in that the head didn't want to pop back up. (this is because they re-engineered it to be less loose) But adding a wee bit of soap to the inside neck surfaces helped with that, and now it works great!Also, I just want to add that the finish is the typical dark, oil-rubber bronze I wanted - not all shiny like it seems to be in the rather poor picture.

This soap dispenser has the longest plastic neck of any of the units that I have found. That is important in some installations with large sink bowls that have very little clearance between the outside of the sink bowl (under the sink) and surrounding cabinetry that supports the sink and counter top. Sometimes there is not enough room to get the soap bottle in there, and this unit often solves that problem because the long neck extends down far enough that the bottle clears the cabinetry underneath and screws in as it should. With short necks, sometimes that bottle just will not fit in there. On the downside, this unit has no check valve in it, so though it comes with a tube for attaching to a large bottle, forget it, it only works with the small provided bottle. (Or you can separately purchase a different extension tube that has its own check valve, at additional cost.) So this only gets a 4, because no check valve, but in most installation, it can often solve problems other units do not solve because of its long neck.
