Very lightweight, well ventilated, has good airflow, excellent for hot weather. Folds exactly as described and fits easily in your pocket. The brim is longer, provides good sun protection and keeps its shape well on your head. I bought it for my husband, he wears it everywhere and is very pleased with the purchase. I would definitely buy another one and recommend it.

Ok, love this hat but it is far from perfect. The fit is a bit too big and makes the hat appear a bit "Baggie" and not form fitting. The other dislike is the clap system and strap, as it seems cheap to me. The hat has a lot of potential though and hope with some washes, it will fit better.

Let me say I LOVE this style hat and have bought them from 3 different vendors: they are similar, but NOT identical. Pluses on all of them: foldable, light weight and fabric makes it comfortable, offers good sun protection (with long bill). BAD on this brand: Sweatband on this one is minimal. Worse for me - the strap is NOT really adjustable (some have velcro) - so you have to be within the "one size fits all" range. Ended up too tight for me, so I'll need to find a way to stretch it out, or just cut off the backstrap, which is ridiculous but will solve the problem. For that reason I'm disappointed with the purchase and would not buy again.

At first, I thought this hat was amazing, until the back strap just popped off of the hat material… sucked not having a hat for the rest of the time I was out there, but it would have been great if the straps were reinforced…

I bought several of these hats for a Summer Alaska trip. I wanted to have water resistant hats for outdoor adventures that may include rain These hats were perfect! Both for me (40 something Mom) and teen boys. They did not look "dorky" as my son had feared, but looked great and functioned great as well! The fact that you can fold it up and stick it in your pocket or in your back pack is genius! Love the hats! I will get a lot of use out of mine as rainy day dog walking hats too!

Great lite weight hat.

It's lightweight and folds nicely to a child's backpack. It can be adjusted to fit a 9 year old child. Unfortunately he lost it during a field trip at his summer camp :(
