I had bought this assuming that it sweeped. When it didn't, I contacted the store owner to ask if it was supposed to, and was assured that it did. They sent out a replacement, but it also didn't sweep, so I don't think it's meant to. I had never heard of sweeping watches before I was told I would need one for my nursing class, but even when I went out to check the nursing watches available at my local Work 'N Gear, I noticed they didn't quite "sweep" either, so hopefully it will be just fine for class.If you don't know what a sweeping watch is like I hadn't, it's a watch whose second-hand ticks more than once per second. It is very rare to find, I'm told, in cheaper watches, and even rarer to find one that actually does a continuous sweeping motion. I've included a short video so you could understand what I mean, but it's pretty much like every other watch.Please note that this does not "clip on" but actually is a pin. I knew this when I bought it, but I feel like some people might have difficulty attaching it to their clothes. It also hangs upside down so that if you hang it near your breast pocket, you only need to look down to see the time. Also works great on the waist pocket, but then you'd only be able to see it if you were seated or had one leg propped up.Another thing I've noticed with both watches I've received is that the second hand is very accurately placed on each tick, but as it reaches 6 'o clock, it starts to deviate and comes back to normal around 12. It doesn't bother me too much, and I notice that I have the exact same problem with the $30 watch I got from Work 'N Gear, so that might just be a normal watch problem. I will say, though, this watch feels more substantial than my $30 watch and I like having multiple ways to check the time. I think this watch is very easy to read, but I'm also told I have very good vision, so I'm unsure how someone will less visual capabilities will feel about it.I believe the face is glass, which I think is lovely and gives it a much higher quality feel. The metal is very shiny and beautiful, especially with the maroon scrubs I will be wearing. Overall I'm satisfied with the product and extremely satisfied with the customer service!

Very disappointed. I brought this as a gift for a friend and it arrived with no pin to attach the watch to the uniform.
