I never ever write reviews but I guess there is a first time for everything. In this case I think the artist/seller is worthy of a good review. I hesitated for a few days due to the high price because I am used to buying at discount stores such as Ross, Marshalls etc. However in the end I really loved the design and detail of craftsmanship. I am very happy with my purchase. It goes perfectly with my newly renovated bathroom design. The vibe I was going for is "tranquil beachy" I will enjoy these sweet little sandpipers every single time I look at them. When you put it into perspective of how much work went into making them its well worth it.

This is the most adorable decoration! I love that it is handcrafted, which accounts for the high price point.

These sandpipers are a fantastic find. They are much larger, heavier, and all-around more substantial than I imagined. The wing plumage is striking, and the birds, log--and even the seashell--are beautifully detailed.My one issue? On my figurine, the shell was attached perpendicular, not parallel, to the log. And head-on, the shell looks much less impressive. It HAS to be attached parallel to the log, as pictured, to achieve the proper effect.So my suggestion? Contact the seller when you buy, and ask him to make sure that on your figurine the shell is sitting the proper direction. Trust me... it'll be worth the little extra effort.

I love coastal birds and these guys are my favorite. They are absolutely beautiful and I have received several compliments on this piece.

I have many of Richard Morgan's carved birds, but these little Sandpiper's are awesome. They shipped quickly and were packaged very securely.
