Very Best of

What can I say about this album and Jackie Wilson. I am old enough to remember watching American Bandstand and always, always, always loved watching and listening to him. I am going to see his son perform this May 2018 in PA, if he is anything like Jackie I know I won't be disappointed. This collection has just about every song he ever sang and the quality is pretty good. I am happy I brought Jackie into my home once again.

Everything arrived on time and as advertised. Jackie is a treasure. Not a bad song on the cd. The modern era has nothing like Jackie Wilson, Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye or the mighty Sam Cooke. Toss your modern mess and get these great men. Add Eartha Kitt and Lena Horne you can be lifted to a higher culture.

Jackie Wilson was one gifted singer who unfortunately never really got recognized. All he ever wanted to do was share his voice with the world. If you have never heard him sing, I recommend you buy this three cd set. If you are a Jackie Wilson fan, I'm sure you will listen to him sing as often as I do. Do yourself a favor and invest in "The Very Best of Jackie Wilson".

I loved receiving the Very Best of Jackie Wilson. The very talented Jackie had a beautiful operatic voice. It it so sad that he was terribly ripped-off by his manager and that sadly Jackie passed away so young after suffering a stroke.

This was a 3 disc pkg with many songs, that was not really very good. It was a waste of my time and money. So I bought the disc- The Greastest Hits of Jackie Wilson. This is one disc with 16 wonderful top hits of Jackie Wilson. By far a better buy. Carolyn B.

A keystone of early to mid era R&B talent, inspiration and performance. The collection is extensive. Will require hours of enjoyable listening to get through. Great for R&B anthropologists as well as young artists looking for inspiration of great provenance.

As a teenager I loved Jackie Wilson and attended every r&r show that featured him. This package is amazing, so many songs and very reasonably priced.

The album is great. The vender sucks. Do not buy anything from parkslopemusic.

Fantastic CD, a must for anyone who likes Jackie Wilson. He had an amazing voice which I've come to appreciate more, especially after listening to him sing Alone At Last.

Very disappointed, this album set should be entitled 'Not The Very Best Of Jackie Wilson'. Two of Jackie Wilsons very best are noticeably absent from this selection, where it has otherwise been made up of covers to fill it. And anyone who knows the brilliant Jackie Wilsons hits will know the two to which I am referring are, ''I Get the Sweetest Feeling", which to me is second to no other, but shares top place with ''Reet Petite", and the other absent one is "(Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher and Higher",

What a voice. Sings directly to, and stirs your soul. Comprehensive collection. I'm more than happy. Prompt delivery too. Thank you.

Bought for a present , friend was buzzing with it. The best of Jackie Wilson a brilliant cd.
