SHERWIN WILLIAMS Finish 1 Ultimate Overall Clearcoat, FC720, 1GAL /with Hardener (Hardener Fast - FH611)

This clear is one of the best I have used for quick projects on a budget. I have sprayed several vehicles and parts in my garage over the years and I always use the Finish1 clear for best results. When used properly and sprayed correctly, you get minimal orange peel and yet it lasts quite a long time. I have painted several sets of wheels with this clear also and even 4 years later, they are still holding up great.

Very nice clear for the price. I was able to get a really good shine. Just as good as some very high dollar clear I’ve use on a daily basis. Covering very well with a 60% over lap at about 26 psi out of a DV1. Seems to work well only time will tell. Had to play with my gun setting to get it to lay down the way I like. But definitely happy with how well it looks.

One of the easier clear coats I've used personally. Not a professional painter but have used PPG/Transtar/USC/UPOL clear in the past and this clear coat lives up to the reviews. Laid down nice and smooth on the second coat with no runs. The best part for me is the low odor, unlike other clears. Definitely recommend this clear for DIY painters as its quite forgiving. No experience wetsanding/polishing it yet though, so I'll amend my review when I get around to doing so.

Priced reasonable stays nice and buffs easy.

Ran a Collision Center for 36 years and this is as good as the 400 dollar stuff and buffs really well
