Holds great, easily unscrews for cleanout/drain, more finished
These are just what was needed for drip irrigation to multiple different beds. I used these at each bed to make a cleanout if needed and ireally like these better than the type that just kinks the line since i can easily unscrew it to drain and it is very strong wich makes for a more permanant end to each line. Ive found the DIG products to be superior than other brands ive tried and so far nothing has failed. Will be using again

fits 1/2" hose
have over 5 miles of 1/2" irrigation hose, need lots of cleanouts; these are perfect as a cleanout and seal completely when not in use.

Easy to install, last a long time.
I think these are the best hose end caps. They will freeze in the winter so they have to be drained

this fitting installs better if the pipe you are putting it on is warmed from the sun. No leaks. Perfect

No compression collar.
Arrived quickly but are just a push on end without a compression collar to create a secure and pressure resistant fit. My 12 volt solar pump(35 gpm) blows them off after just a few minutes unless i add a cork inside the fitting. Problem could be my tubing but I selected these based on measurements of the tubing OD.
