Dual-lens well worth it - Excellent tool
This review is for the *** Dual Lens Borescope-Endoscope, Teslong MS450 Inspection Camera with 4.5 inches HD Screen, 10ft IP67 Waterproof with 7 LEDs, Scope Camera Flexible Cable, Zoom, 2500mAh, 32GB Card for Drain Plumbing ***I am very impressed with this borescope. It produces clear images and video (with surprisingly good audio) that can be saved to the microSD card that's installed. The card can be removed to transfer files or you can use the USB cable in the box. This method is slower of course but you don't need a card-reader.The unit focuses instantly and there's no lag on the screen. It works extremely well. Someone said it only focuses when the camera is up close, i.e. within a small range but that's not true. From the top of the spark plug hole the piston is in focus when it's at the bottom of the jug. The lack of *sharp* focus is user error; I wasn't holding the camera steady. The last picture is pretty good considering it's hand-held.Charging in my PC using the supplied USB cable took an hour. I shot 45 minutes of video and a couple hundred pictures. Apparently it didn't use much battery life; charging it the second time took about a half hour. The manual says a full charge takes 3-4 hours, presumably from completely discharged. This borescope is a pleasure to use. Switching between cameras is easy and smooth. The menu is easy to navigate; there isn't much to scroll through, which is nice. The cable is rigid enough not to droop under its own weight, flexible enough to curve around tiny spaces inside an engine. The video is a cylinder on a shovelhead; the pics are from an Evo Sportster. The clip and pics may not show off the borescope very well but hopefully they give you an idea of what it can do. Inexpensive borescopes that use an app on your phone are just not in the same league. In this price range there may be others that perform as well but I went with Teslong because they have a good reputation.

Great, except close focus
I want to love this thing but I constantly need to see things very close to the camera and it can't focus close enough. A bit frustrating for an otherwise excellent tool.

quality doesn’t always mean more money
I have an older snap on borescope that quit working due to cable damage and the cable alone would cost more then the Teslong Endoscope. I started comparison shopping on the 3 tool truck dealers Snap on, Matco, Mac and a borescope that has the same features the Teslong Endoscope does would cost me over $1000.00 through any of the truck dealers. I purchased the Teslong Endosope and have used it about 4 times and the battery is still on the original charge, the images are clear on the screen, the pictures are clear and the proof is that the images were good enough to get new vehicle warranty to cover an engine for internal engine damage and with a Snap on, Matco or Mac borescope the images could be seen but not be able to be captured without the use of angled mirror adapters and for 4 times the price of the Teslong Endoscope. I happened to borrow a Snap on borescope from a coworker a week before I purchased the Teslong Endoscope and asked about features and price of the one I borrowed at it was 5 times the price plus tax and didn’t even come with a mirror so after I purchased the Teslong Endosope I gave him the mirror from my old borescope. I am very satisfied with the price and operation of the Teslong Endoscope

Confusing specs, is 720p 1MP, but is still decent.
As one of the questions points out, the specs on this device are confusing and a bit deceptive. It is NOT a 1080P camera. It is a 1MP 720p camera. It even says show on the Teslong website when you google this model MS450.In the device settings, under resolution, is says "2MP 1080p".The camera is saving images upscaled as 1080p resolution.Videos are recorded at 720p with no option to use 1080p.The images of the main cam, if you can manage to have it stay in focus range, always difficult for non-auto focus, fixed focus camera, the images are fairly good. Certainly better than other cheaper, or "as seen on tv" junk I have tried off a store shelf. The image quality of the side camera, is less than the main cam for some reason. It is a bit blurry nearly all the time and seems to have very small clear focus range. It has a nice bright and somewhat sharp display on the unit. The USB C custom camera snake attachment is solid and rubbery. The case the whole thing comes in is solid and protects well the device.Considering there are higher MP and spec, with auto focus even, cameras available to buy at lower or around the same cost as this model, i would say this one is overpriced for its specifications. However, it is a decent inspection camera overall.
