How do I set this for scrabble?

Hmm… it is really designed for chess. But it has a setup option for hours and minutes. It comes with a manual that shows you how to do that. You can also try some online tutorials on digital chess clocks.  But the buttons you mainly press during a chess game will pause the game for the player who pushes the button until they press the button and make their move. If you want more accurate timing devices a stopwatch,  cellphone alarm, or one of those 3 to 5 minute hour glasses can help. The professional chess players just prefer to use regulation allowed digital timers on fresh batteries. Analog chess clocks do not use batteries. But they can hurt your fingers. So be careful about that if you buy analog clocks designed for chess. But a stopwatch is handy to have as well outside of chess games z they are usually easier to operate. But digital chess clocks that meet regulations and fresh batteries are important when playing official chess games. Just for unofficial scrabble though…. You could probably use a stopwatch or timer on your cellphone. Or one of those hourglass ⌛️ things if you do not mind flipping it over when the sand runs out for more time. I think they have 30 minute hourglasses somewhere. But they are a bit more specialized than 3 or 5 minute hourglasses.

It’s easy to set, please follow the steps bellow:
1.Press the “+” button to select the countdown timing rules ( the default countdown time is 1 hour an the right screen display “1:00:00” )
2. Press the setting button to enter the setting mode, press the “+” or “-” button to change the digits, press the setting button to switch to change the next digits and so on.
3.Press the “Start/Pause” button to confirm the setting.
