Well made piece of kitchen ware.
Never could figure out why people spend crazy amounts of money on basic kitchen items like these. This is an extremely well made, attractive Dutch oven that cooks evenly and is large enough for 95% of your needs. It cleans up fast and the ceramic coating is strong. I have owned much more expensive Dutch ovens in the past (I scratch cook all of my own meals) and I can definitely say that this does the job just as well as any I've used. Don't waste your money on "designer" cookware, buy what works at a reasonable price like this pot does.

Great quality and great price
I got into bread making and this Dutch oven is perfect for it. It’s really deep actually compared to other Dutch ovens. And it’s so study when I lift the lid which is important bc no one wants to hold a hot lid that’s cumbersome. It’s also a lot cheaper than some other options while being very good quality. The bread I make turns out well balanced rather than being too dry/undercooked/unevenly cooked. It’s also cute looking. Haven’t had any issues with food sticking to it but I’ve only been making bread so~

Very Pleased
I’m very please with my purchases. I bought two 3 quart Dutch ovens and one 7 quart. While the price of the 3 and the 7 are reasonable, the price of the 5 is nearly the same as that of the 7 so I didn’t buy a 5. I bought two 3s and one 7. I have a very small kitchen with very little storage space so all three stay on top of the stove. I can store one 3 inside of the 7 if I invert the 3 lid. The red color looks bright and happy in my brown and cream colored kitchen. It matches my Kitchen Aide appliances and Fiesta scarlet dishes. I make a lot of soup in the winter and I use the 7 most often and then put leftovers in a 3 to put in the refrigerator. Because of the weight I am a bit afraid to put a filled 7 in my new refrigerator. These do very well w my recipes. They warm up fairly slowly but keep the heat longer than a stainless steel pot. I have to be careful the bottoms don’t burn especially with milk sauces or puddings bc the bottom warms up long before the sides. I like being able to transfer the Dutch ovens from stove top to oven when cooking. I haven’t yet mastered cleaning them and have determined they are supposed to stay slightly stained and that’s ok. I use the 7s lid on my fry pan. I wish there were a fry pan to go with the set. I used to use a lot of cast iron but I didn’t like cleaning them and sometimes a black residue would get in my food. I like the enameled cast iron a lot better.

Great Dutch oven
Decided on this one instead of the more expensive one. I got it in red. It’s not only beautiful, it’s easy to clean and cooks well sealing in flavor. The lid fits perfectly and the bottom is flat which helps with even distribution of heat tgrough the cast iron.

Not as good as LeCreuset, but costs a lot less
I have some LeCreuset pot that are over 30 years old and continue to serve me well, but I wanted a larger pot. The larger LeCreuset pots were out of my budget, so I got the 7qt Cuisinart when it was on sale a year and a half ago. I've been using it to make batches of bean stew a couple of times a month. It is a large, solid heavy pot. It is showing some minor signs of wear - more than my LeCreuset pots did at a similar age, but seems to be holding up well. I've seen no flaking of the enamel so far, as some other reviewers have reported. One thing that is important to remember is that this type of pot should never be heated when empty - doing so can cause the enamel to flake. They work best for soups, stews, casseroles, and the like. I have my doubts as to whether this pot will still be going after 30 years, as my LeCreuset Pots all are, but if you want a big solid pot now and don't have the budget for a LeCreuset, this seems like a good alternative.

came chipped up
Its a nice heavy Dutch oven. love the color. the rim of the pot is chipped in a few places despite their packaging. Not so much as I would return it. If I was going to spend more on a Dutch oven, I would buy this item in person.

Attractive, functional, sensibel, old-fashioned buy-it-once tool that feels a bit like a luxury item in use.
Not the cheapest or most expensive one of these I looked at but done just as well as the more costly ones. No sharp surface anomalies to scratch your work surfaces, cleans up very easily and is so much more durable that the high-tech polymer coatings, regardless of what their makers claim. This is something you can buy and use for decades. The inside is very smooth and the lighter color makes it easy to see what you're doing in there, unlike the typically dark "non-stick" polymer coatings. You can forget you're carmelizing onions and still wipe out the gooey brown stuff easily. It's heavy, compared to aluminum or stainless, but the cast iron conducts heat very evenly and the cast iron won't flex and allow the coating to crack. It's also very attractive sitting in the kitchen, is very nicely finished and there are no unnecessary and useless design features to go out of style - a "timeless design." This is a real, old-fashioned value - an attractive, functional and useful tool you can buy once and use for decades to come - which makes it a very good value. This size (3Qt) is ideal for the two of us. Choose the color carefully - you'll be "stuck" with it for a long time.
